Iboruiboya Ibochiche Baba thank you for acknowledging the queer members of the Ifa community starting around 10:44 in the video. That’s a very powerful and beautiful thing you said.
I’d love to hear your input on Ojuani Meji and Abita and how we could use that odu to learn balance in both A spiritual aspect as well as the marketplace
Iboru Iboya. Baba your content is so informative, I want to thank you for your unbiased perspective. Can you make a video on Iyanifas and Iyalawos? There is a lot of discussion around the potential roles available to women in Isese versus Lukumi tradition and I would love to hear your position
Love these… modupe o🤲🏽 If in the future we can get an episode where you summarize some of your highlight experiences that lead you to the point of being a proficient babalawo …modupe o🤲🏽
Iboru iboya boya... Baba . first thank you for your wisdom... PLEASE put something out on ALBITA.... so people can understand his concept . I feel you can teach it best... Ashe'
I suggest a video with reviews or/and discussions about good books Don Demetrio - The Book on Palo I would like to ask You to discuss/elaboration of issues raised in this book alone or with someone who knows even more :) deal?
Great point! I have a question Baba, I’m simply an Omo Awo learning at the moment , are you saying you can’t get any “Meji” or two signs from dilogun!? There is a dilogun book with double odu such as Ose Okanran, etc. is that invalid? Also 2 years ago when I first started learning I was offered hand of ifa by a so called “Iyanifa” she wanted to use the dilogun to give me Isefa, luckily I had learned that dilogun cannot do Isefa and I declined and met a real priest months later, I’m thankful! And thankful for your teachings!🙏🏽
I was under the impression that the reason why Ifa doesn't touch Corey shells is because they were supposed to be "madesido". And that Ifa sees the shells as dirty that why we have to sing osun bule... To remove the curse. That's why ifa doesn't touch the shells. And if Ifa can't touch shells then Orisha can't talk. That's why Ifa can only give charged eshu and santero give elegua and the big rock stays outside also is non-charged eshu. Santero speak to Orisha with shells, Ifa speaks to egguns and irumole thats why they use equele. Also the battle between that the rocks and the shells are older then the Ifa seeds. So we fall into a who came first the chicken or egg issue.
Cowries are a sacred material that could never be “maldecido”. Ifa touches them, just not for divination. Opa Osun is the staff of Ifa, singing his praise song would have no effect on the cowrie. Orishas other than Orunmila speak through Opele and Ikin. Baba Oyekun Meji, which is the oldest Odu in the Oracle, states Ikin was the first divination method and material in the universe. Thanks for watching
@@JosephBabaIfa if not maldecido then why do we sing osun .. Wash the caracol and sprinkle the water after we cleanse the cursed shells so now they can speak? Or if not maldecido why can't ifa read the shells?
I overstand ifa not orisa. Isese is what it is or how it describe as a whole , before it was named yoruba it was yaraba from Aruba and the entomology was lost and history aa far as it invadion by arabs and hindus , the real oracle was the Medi neter of kemet actually as orunmila was call ptah who said to be the creator of this religion
Thank you Baba 🙏🏽💯

In Yoruba Eerindilogun is used to refer to 16 as in the 16 mejis, as well as cowrie divination.
