Theory: Doors is a Hotel game run by Shadow, they lure and trick(kill) people into becoming one of them or to feed them. The entities themselves are lost souls trapped there with no other way to survive; so thats why they kill.
Spirit (Guiding Light) knows what is going on and tries their best to stop and bring it to justice and a lot of times have failed.
Shadow in this video, may have other goals (Opening a new Hotel? Aka. Doors 2 to lure in more people?) So they gave it to Warped Jack in a deal for them to join the entities.
Quite sad and scary. But I still love your videos, a lot of theories can be made but this is only one of them.

**Ambush story**: Ambush was a little girl that liked to run back and forward, Her brother was named Jackie one day, They found an closet that wasn't there as usual, They opened the closet and, black smoke came out, Lilly (Ambush) ended up going upstairs in her room, And in a while see saw shadows saying, go downstairs, she ignored it and she got pinched somehow, she finally went downstairs and saw her big brother dead, she was crying, and when she turned back there was a man with a knife, Lilly got into the void and saw her brother, the void said, Jackie has to deal with me, and the void said, Rather be a human or a monster, he still wanted to a human and, Lilly had no choice she ended up being a entity

fan made screech backstory: Some stupid idiot thought he could find free Microsoft gift cards in the back of an alley way. When he dug through his 5th dumpster, a closet fell right on top of him.
It decapitated him only leaving a head.
He got sent to the void once he was awake and was given choice to become a monster, or stay in the void.
He said no. But he was told that if he didn't want to hurt people often, he'd alert them with the PSST sound effect.
Not having a choice, he said yes.

This should be titled "The backsotry of Spirit (Guiding Light)"
This is more of why Spirit isn’t able to talk to the player like a normal entity. Spirit is only able to show messages and guide the player while all the other entities can harm/do physical things to the player.
