I nearly counted out Salas because they were mean to me at Exsence. The bottles drew me in and although many vendors are busy or overwhelmed at a perfume fair like that, it was poor behavior. If you all are saying it is good maybe I should give them a second chance. I still wonder if maybe they are just mean to people who just seem less important but with you both having only nice things to say I am going to go in again reserving judgement. I will be going to Milan again in March and see how it goes. Speaking of which... now that you wont be travelling in May, you might be coming to Milan in March 🤔🤔🤔😃😃😃 So fun to make your own perfume.. what an experience Congrats to Kevin, I am so happy for you and Emily 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 I got the orens cofre from Jovoy and it is an impressive cofre with their line in the same shape but smaller bottle. I do think that callis subtile is the best of the bunch but there isnt a bad perfume there, just a few that have similar dna to those I already have and wont need of full bottle of anything but Callis Subtile That Amber Aoud sounds really interesting. I think I saw it on sale somewhere recently and wanted to hear more about it and BAM.. here you are. I love the longer content❣❣❣

So delighted for you. 💖 I was in Harrods the other week (live near London) and strangely bought both those fragrances from the Floraiku boutique on the 6th floor. First time trying the brand. Did they tell you that the red bottles (Between Two Trees and Sleeping on the Roof) are part of their "Shadowing" idea where you can layer these with any other of their fragrances to make them either darker (BTT) or lighter (SOTR). Plan on trying this when I get more of them to play with! There is a gorgeous one - What a Day! - that I think is a London exclusive (and maybe online) which I have my eye on...... Great video as always. Love the longer format! 🤩

Re: my opinions of Amber Aoud, I'm a little bit lost as to what Kevin is describing, because on my skin, Amber Aoud is one of those sweet-jammy rose fragrances. Basically a rose-oud with 0 oud. I definitely don't get any animalics. Other houses have this profile too, e.g. Fragrance du Bois has Parisian & Oud Rose Intense, Xerjoff has Astaral, I think SHL & Electimuss had one each too but I'm not that well versed with those houses. Only other fragrance in this video I've tried is GnTonic and it was a bit meh. Just a very simple citrus-freshie that dries into plain white florals. Definitely a summer, maybe spring-summer fragrance; but it is office safe, so those that don't want to put up Elysium money for the office, it's worth a look.

My favourite from the house is still Royal Vintage however, but hey, I’m a sucker for well composed classic scents. It even beats DesirToxic for me and deserves some love. There is a 10 ml decant in that advent calendar bottle box 🤣
Sniffing fresh jasmine flowers instigated a hunt for a fragrance that captures that scent memory from the basket. I’m dubbing between Jasmin Rouge and Portrayal Woman.
The salas one sounded nice, ive never tried anything from them, but it did sound good, some nice fragrances here, a nice insight into some new fragrances to me, thanks guys 👍

When I was in the store I had about 4 that I was debating on and One Umbrella for Two was one of those....really impressive fragrance (plus I loved the story connected to this fragrance) In the end, the "Maté" note won (I had to! You totally described amber aoud wrong. It’s so wearable and doesn’t go animaliic at all. It literally gets better with time and is so long lasting. There’s no civet and castorium coming through. I do recognise that perfume is subjective however, this was described a bit misleading.

When I was in the store I had about 4 that I was debating on and One Umbrella for Two was one of those....really impressive fragrance (plus I loved the story connected to this fragrance)
In the end, the "Maté" note won (I had to! I was under obligation as an Argentine😬)

You totally described amber aoud wrong. It’s so wearable and doesn’t go animaliic at all. It literally gets better with time and is so long lasting. There’s no civet and castorium coming through. I do recognise that perfume is subjective however, this was described a bit misleading.
Yep, I have to agree....it was funny but as Kevin was explaining it, I'm thinking "hmmm, not like I remember it.." hence why I sprayed😂
