      The national party for me is easy. It’s the state specific stuff that gets me. Arizona need to stop trying to be so unique 😂

    One of the questions I had come across on an exam was (along the lines of):
    If a person in a joint tenancy defaults on a mortgage, who would the bank come for. All owners of the property or just the one who defaulted on the loan
    I know that you mentioned that the other would be free and clear if someone dies but what if someone defaults?

      Joint tenants are equally liable for all debts against the property. Tenants in common can use their own shares as collateral and take on sole financial responsibility for loans.

    in joint tenancy in ttip does interest mean still paying rent on money borrowed?

    • @Caleb_Mandrake872
      @Caleb_Mandrake872 8 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      +Armand Tognan
      Interest is referring to "Undivided Interest" in the property. That means every owner owns the same amount as each other. If there are 4 owners, each owner owns 25%. If there are 3 owners, each owner owns 33.33%. If there are 2 owners, each owner owns 50%.
      Regarding TTIP, this interest has nothing to do with mortgage interest.
