To be clear, they would not have been active Navy Seals. 50 cent cannot be protected by any active military; he's rapper and a civilian, not a head of state. It would have most likely been an elite armed executive protection team, very possibly made up of ex-Navy Seals, as executive close protection is a common career path for special forces once they leave the military, due to the money they can earn and the skills they possess which suit the job.
