Just assembled my HR05. Works well for the price. cable pulley system only works smoothly if: 1) you remove the inner plastic on both sliding arms 2)you have equal weight distribution on both sides of each weight stack, preventing it from "leaning" and rubbing into the sliding pole, which would create friction and choppy resistance. Other than that, it's great
@@HollerAtcherBoi silicone lubricant to make the carriage slide easier. The one part of these machines that have me worried, been wanting to pull the trigger on one but I don't like that square post.
No new issues! I kept using the machine for quite a long time after the review was recorded. I just now had to set it off to the side to make room for more review equipment.
"better" is pretty subjective. It really depends on how much space you have. If you're in a small space, a half rack is better. If you have tons of space and are lifting really heavy, I'd say a full rack is better.
Hello, I saw the measurements you provide. I was wondering if you knew what the depth is from the rear of the cage to the front post? Also what's the width from the front post to front post? And last question is can I place the pullup bar with the handles facing backwards instead of frontwards? Or will that interfere with the top pulley? I'm trying to make it fit in a limited spot and there is a hanging fan I need to account for. So I appreciate any help you can provide. Thank you.
I just ordered mine but my only worry was the quick release handle being in the way like you described for squats. I’m 6”1’ and I may switch the orientation of the upright posts when I put it together as long as they don’t interfere with anything else pointing inwards.
@ I was going to do that until I mocked it up and tried it with the 45’s I have and my jcups are about 2-3 holes below the top two and I was able to clear it no problem thankfully , appreciate the tip tho !
You CAN. The only issue is the circular cutout will be on the outside and won't circle the number for the height setting you're on. You might be able to just flip the upright around to point outward too. I'm not sure if there's anything preventing you from doing that without looking at the machine again though.
I just ordered this off Temu. $346 w free shipping. Can’t go wrong. Hopefully i don’t regret it. One con you mentioned was not being able to put the j cups on the top two holes due to the cable attachments being up there. Couldn’t you just lower the cables to the bottom and then put the j cups on the top two notches? Thank you for doing the only Review on here of this rack!
Hi there, how did purchasing off Temu work out ? Did you receive it in a timely manner, and was all the parts there , and if everything went well, how do you like it was it a great buy ? Thanks Ray
Love to see honest reviews
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video

I'll definitely make sure to mention that in future reviews! Thanks!
Did you try silicone first before taking the plastic out ?
@@rcf3773 not sure what you mean exactly but no, I didn’t

Could you just move the Cable Pully Adjustments to the bottom to be able to use the top 2 holes for a taller person?
No because the cable comes out of the top of the pulley. The cable would be in the way of the bar.
@ makes sense, thanks for clarifying!
@@danfitzsimmons3174 happy to help!
Can you use all the pull up handles while facing the support bar with the weight horns as well as with your back to it?
You CAN buy it'd be awkward doing pull ups facing out. Because the pull up bar stick out from the top support.
What’s better, a full rack or a half rack like this one? I’m not sure which one I should get.

just build it by switching the two sides opposite of what it supposed to be. then the handles will be on the inside.

This one or the Ritfit?
I like this one for the money.
How was the stability?
It's great! I still use this machine
@ do you think it needs mats underneath? Just ordered but dont have mats just normal garage floor
Can’t you just install the pulley adjustment handles opposite so the outside bar is on the inside

@@RyanTreadawayyea. I think mikolo might just mess their directions up. They have other units with those facing inward.
Thats a good Idea. I was also thinking that you can move the pulleys down to the ground when you want to squat.
@@nogoodbadass if you do that, the cable will be in the way because the cable comes out of the top of that pulley.
Or can you not just put the pulleys down to the bottom when squatting?

Great snag! No you can't do that because the cable will be in the way if you let the pulleys down yo the bottom.
Ahhh very true.
Have you received your order? Building a garage gym and this seems to be the best option. If received how have you enjoyed it so far?
@@GrandpaWazi I'm curious as well

I picked mine up on Amazon during Christmas sale for $541 and that's tax and everything!!!
There lot cheaper on temo and if they give a coupon you can get it down to 350
@rcf3773 im scared to order anything off of temo😆
Same lol. Good job on the cheap pickup though!
I think I got mine cheaper at Walmart
Nice! 💪
What is your favorite budget rack?
Hard to say. For a full rack, probably the Lionscool. For a half rack, probably this one so far.
