Teacher SHOCKED That I Did This for FREE - I Mowed and Edged an OVERGROWN Lawn After His Mower BROKE

- Today you will see me help out an old high school teacher who needed help after his lawn mower broke down.
I had a teacher from my old high school reach out to me to get a quote to come cut his lawn for him because the belt broke on his lawn mower and he hasn’t been able to mow for a couple weeks.
I really wanted to give back to our educators, so I told him that I would absolutely come do it and get everything back in shape completely free of charge.
The edges on this lawn really needed cut back and the front only needed a haircut. However, the back yard was getting out of control and I’m glad I could come get it cut down for him.
A lot of people ask me how I make a living doing all my jobs for free. This is an awesome question as everything you see on this channel is actually volunteer work that I do in my free time during the evenings. I just graduated college and work full time as a developer during the day and I have a few guys that help me out on the weekends to maintain about 40 properties on a weekly basis.
I do want to mention that I am absolutely thrilled with the support that I’ve been receiving lately so I really want to give back to all you guys.
Once I hit 50 thousand subscribers I will be giving away a brand new edger and trimmer exactly like the ones that I use. This will be bought with money coming out of my own pocket to show my appreciation to each and every one of you.

I can't tell you how much I admire you for your spirit & efforts! 20 years ago I bought a small home and proudly did a LOT of cleaning up since the property had been sorely neglected. It took me about 3 months to accomplish that. Now I'm retired. I have had to employ someone to keep things up for me. I'm fortunate enough to be able to do so. There are SO MANY needs in today's world! It does my heart so much good to see you (as a young person) placing a deserved value on seniors, ESPECIALLY an educator who "gave" for many years.

It's a good thing to give back to our Educators. I was schooled in Private Catholic School and for us back in the early 80s. Just because the calendar said school was out. We had band, track, art classes, home econ and host of other things we did that we enjoyed seeing our teachers each and every day. We gave back that way by maintaining the school. Painting and general maintenance. Plus added bonus of gift of talking with them. Keep up the great work. Guest what. No one ever flunked at that school. Word of summer school didn't exist. Go figure....

As an Early Childhood Educator, Thank You for giving back to one of your former teachers. I have over the years (40 years) teaching our youngest learners received so many acts of kindness from my families . I am friends on social media with former students that are now college graduates, in high school etc. Seeing the amazing adults they have become or becoming brings happiness to my heart.

What you're doing is wonderful! inspiring! motivating! and I'm sure it beats the heck out of going to the gym to stay in shape.

Spencer just a thought when you’re edging the yard the sod left over can be reused to jump start someone else’s yard wherever there’s a bald spot to get grass growing again. Kinda like recycling or pay it forward to the next customer.

I’ve found that watching your videos are very relaxing and make drifting off to sleep so much easier. They’ve also showed me ways mow my lawn better. Thanks Spenser for improving my lawn cutting and trimming!
That was a really good thought, to give back to a teacher. We have had teachers and leaders give remarkable time to help our kids over the years. Good people. Particularly like that you have developed work that includes other students and gives them a chance to earn money to survive. Nice cleanup. A lot of extra edging to trim.
