Mam I think I fill power electronics is a difficult subject in diploma in engineering but after watching your videos I fell I do . Man I requested you uploaded many an more videos about of chopper, rectifier, controller, power electronics devices etc .
When the thyristor is not conducting then the current flows through the diode but at that case I think the diode is in the reverse bias so where will the current flows ?
Mam this is only only for resistive load bit for rl and rle the things will be different then diode will come into picture please make that video too Thankuu mam ❤️❤️

We use diode only for provide the path of current in case if thyristor not conduct then diode provide the current part we use it in anti parallel of because current flow in thyristor up to down if thyristor off then current path from diode down to up because diode conduct in forward bias THANK YOU With regards LEARN AND GROW
