Hi, I am from Kolkata and I would like to recommend to try Phuchka (Pani Puri type) from any street-vendor of Kolkata. Thanks for visiting and portraying the beauty of Kolkata, the City of Joy.
As a Proud Bengali living abroad, I felt really homesick watching the video. It's great watching foreigners travelling to the City of Joy and enjoying themselves.
Thanks for exploring the east of India as well. Kolkata is the de-facto cultural capital of India. It has gone through a lot since the British rule. These days I see tourists (especially foreigners) just visit Delhi, Mumbai, Bangaluru etc. But I must say if you haven't been to Kolkata, You haven't been in India...! That's where the actual Indianness is preserved...!!. You can find both, many high rise buildings giving you the metro city vibe and 200-300 Years old buildings taking you back in time...! Also Bengal is not just kolkata, would love if you travel to the other places as well...!!!
I'm also from Kolkata and do some blogs on foods, 😅... It will be an immense pleasure to represent you the hidden gems of Kolkata, please visit Kolkata and arrange a meeting so that we can collab😅😊

Sabir's Mutton Rezala with tandoori roti (Chandni Market) - not to be missed 3. Royal Hotel's Mutton Chaap - In the Chitpur area. Also had with Rumali Roti 4. Kewpie's - this is honest to goodness, authentic Bengali cuisine. This is what 6 Ballygunge Place and Aheli aspire to be. Located in Elgin Lane. 5. Bejing Restaurant in Tangra. Go there for the Hakka Noodles and Chilli Chicken. Monica Liu - the founder - was the one who nationalized Indo-Chinese cuisine. Cheers and wishing you the very best ... and enjoy.
