I work with that bottom 25% in a hospital in Melbourne with over 6000 employees. That bottom 25% buyers are mostly new immigrants and almost all of them are sitting on the fence atm just waiting for the first couple of rate cuts before they dive in. All they talk about regarding the housing market or care about is getting in asap. Surely that's when Melbourne will finally start coming back?
