@@artsteadman2230 We got snow here on the Gulf coast. This is crazy. The deal was y'all shovel snow and we deal with the hurricanes. I feel like we got screwed. I want a refund.

Be safe. If you have a lot of driving to do on that ice, I'd put on some snow tires. Snow tires on a front wheel drive car is almost as good as all season tires on a vehicle with all wheel or 4 wheel drive.
Snow tires won't do sht on ice. They work by grabbing a lot of snow onto the tire then relying on the friction between the snow on the tires and on the snow on the ground for control. Nothing but studded tires help on ice. Best advice is to stay home and wait for the roads to clear.
How many once in a lifetime events have we experienced? They seem to occur all the time. From devestating fires in the West to snow in Louisiana. Don't forget the hurricane in Nashville. No wonder insurance companies are cancelling home insurance.
and all that snow is going to melt eventually, all at the same time, equals a lot of flooding. america prepare yourselves for extreme weather because its only going to get worse now trumps back. what have you done ? to vote him back again !
It does exist and it can simultaneously cause blizzards and droughts, record heat and record cold, thickened polar ice and thinner polar ice, increased numbers of extreme weather events and extended periods of calm weather. Glaciers get bigger and smaller all over the globe. There is nothing that it can't do.
That is not blizzard conditions. Light to heavy snow. I get it, it's the south and they have neither the equipment nor expertise to deal with it, but don't call it a blizzard when it is not.
It's a blizzard "warning",, another news station explained that there needs to be more snow and higher winds. Not a blizzard, yet, so yes, you're right. Just a warning, for now..
