    I can see why this item is a must-have for some people (I would love to have this but I haven't won the Powerball yet). In all seriousness, if someone were to purchase this for their home, what type (and cost) of maintenance would be necessary to keep this working well for a long time? I would hope it would last for at least 20-25 years.

      It is built to last unlike mass market products like the ninja creami, which is designed to be disposable like so much of what is produced today. That is one reason for the cost disparity. We have had an original Pacojet 1 in our kitchen for over 10 years and it operates just as well as it did when it was new. In terms of maintenance, proper cleaning is really the only thing you need to worry about. And that has been greatly simplified with the PacoJet 4.

      The best repair technician in Indonesia is the PT Keisi Indonesia technician, who wears glasses, he really understands about Pacojet 1, Pacojet Junior, Pacojet 2, Pacojet 2 Plus, and Pacojet 4. and in my opinion he is the best Pacojet technician in Indonesia. I have 4 Pacojet 2 engines, which previously didn't work, now works again.

    i bet the blade shape and the velocity is why the crystals are perfect compared to the ninja creami. ninja blenders are also over-designed with 50 blades even though vitamix has a simple blade and just the right shaped jar to make a consistent downward spiral(whirlpool).
    the first thing i would do if i won the lotto is buy a pacojet and make banana ice cream everyday because i can never find banana ice cream anywhere and when i do there's always something else inside of it like chocolate ..weird!

    • @Modernist_Pantry

      There are Canadian distributors for the Pacojet but we are not Canada based

      For ice cream the Creami is a great alternative for home

      @@Modernist_PantryPacojet could make aftermarket blades & beakers for the Creami. I know dozens of people in my relatively small family/ friends group who would love a steel beaker alongside higher quality blades; but, can't afford a Pacojet.

    Very cool, and you can't deny the higher quality results it produces, but you can buy 25 Ninja Creami before you break even with the cost of one Pacojet. That's what I like about Ninja, they copy commercial products like the Pacojet and miniaturize them for the home. Just look at the Ninja Slushi, pretty brilliant for a home slushi machine. For most homes, the Pacojet is overkill and would take up way too much counter space. Although, if you have a large family it might be just right. I can see why people with the means splurge. It's a machine that can replicate the smoothest soft serve (and much more) without a lot of the hassles associated with owning and maintaining a commercial soft serve machine. Oh well, I just started using a Ninja Creami and I love it. It's good enough for me. Bring the cost of a Pacojet down to 2K and I would be in the market. 7 to 8 thousand, um...no.

      Creami is definitely much more home user friendly budget-wise and size-wise.

    i have used paco jet and ninja creamy which i bought for home and recipe development there is no discussion as a whole paco jet is better but from the money point of view it's not worth it anymore since ninja came in stage even for a restaurant i'd rather buy 5 ninja creamy instead of 1 paco jet it might take 5 extra minutes to make a salmon mousse but im saving 6000 euro lol as for the ice cream and sorbet so far i find it equally good with paco jet

      @Modernist_Pantry  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depends on your usage. We found when we stressed our Creami it didn't do well so if it's being used sparingly, yes. If you are doing a lot of Pacotizing then Pacojet is still a better investment.

      @@Modernist_Pantry if you own 5 you can do around 5 kg of ice cream in 15 minutes I tested this 3 times with no problem you just have to let the base out of the freezer for 6-8 minutes at 34c rt keep in mind I keep my freezer at -16

      @@CookChadmissed the part where in a commercial kitchen you have to use commercial grade equipment that meets safety standards.
