FYI, be careful with that split-grip pull-down-and-stop-at-P6 drill - you can snap a driver shaft doing that.
Does Rory accelerate the (clubhead) from P4 or P5? P4-P5 he looks to be dropping and starting to rotate. P5 applies GRF Pivot Torque (with the feet) and starts to load the club shaft - what do you think?
Great observation! Thoughts for you for what i see - from P4, Rory transitions by dropping the club and starting his rotation, creating lag and speed. At P5, he applies ground reaction forces (GRF) through his feet, generating pivot torque and maintaining shaft load. His smooth power comes from efficient sequencing rather than forcing acceleration.
