The main idea usually is to avoid the early laneimg phase of you are in a losing botlane matchup. Like if you have an alistar support and your enemy botlane is caitlyn karma for example. If you dont swap the toplaners would just lane each other and be fine but your botlane will lose hard. If you manage to pull of the swap both botlanes get a free early lane facing the toplaners. So instead of just your own botlane losing both toplaners are losing, but its an even trade in theory in a situation where you have a huge disadvantage. (enemy bot usually gets a little ahead since the botlane tower is less tanky but its very minor in comparison)
This game as well I think the idea is that it’s really hard for ziggs rakan to dive ambessa if baus doesn’t int. Still difficult even if wukong comes. On the other hand corki/trist are extremely susceptible to naut nidalee varus dive and will be put super behind
