Great three videos here!! Lots of great ideas. My brother and I will be doing the same thing to his 1947 TD-6. Will be our fall/winter project. Did have a question, what compant did you go through for parts? Thanks for your time, again great videos!!

General Gear in Idaho has lots of used parts. F.P. Smith in California has some new and some used parts. If you are not a member of RedPowerMagazine forum, join now. The knowledge on there is invaluable. Good Luck.

I just found a 1951 TD 9 that runs but needs a clutch. The guy wants $3500.00 for it. Is that a fair price?

Depends on how good a shape the rest of the thing is in. Engine clutch or steering clutch? How are the hydraulics, track, engine, etc? Where are you located? Are there any others around? I would say $3500 is not bad if the rest of it is in descent shape. But if the engine starts on gas and switches to diesel then that is a really good start. You can contact me on the Redpowermagazine.com forum if you have more questions. That is THE place to go for info on these machines. The guys there can answer almost any question you could have. Search for WaldoTD9, which is my username.

I'd like to get a 6. There is one up the road rotting away. Owners won't sell, it was their dad's. Oh well.
