It would be cool if there was a version of the game that showed you a recap of your game in like a fluid motion. Like a post-game cenematic recapping all the maneuvers
Are there any other shortcuts we should know about? I’m new to Fly Casual. Also how does Crabbok seem to move smoothly around the board. I can’t work it out. Cheers
I love Fly Casual! I think that the AI is weighted a bit too much against the player in terms of maneuvers and dice rolls, but that adds to part of the challenge and the fun in playing against someone who very rarely makes a mistake.
I agree. On FFGs site, people have said that other coders have looked at the dice rolling mechanics and found nothing wonky, but it seems like the AI rolls an insane amount of hits. It's pretty disheartening when you roll PTs on four dice and come up with one hit, re-roll target lock and get 1 more hit. AI evades out and returns fire. Two crits and focuses another hit. Player rolls green and comes up with one evade if they are lucky.
@@jameslane9537 Sounds about right. Personally, I just take it as a challenge and consider it part of the game's difficulty. It's definitely made me put a lot more thought into my dial since I started playing, to make sure I'm getting the most out of rolls. Attack at range one, defend at range 3 if you can't stay out of arc.
I love the Fly Casual app. I use it a lot to test out new lists, and just when I'm bored -- like nowadays. The thing I don't like is that you can't mark your new position after doing a Talon Roll.
Would love if this had Huge ships. Would also love an Armada version. This program works great and is really easy to just get right into matches right away. Very intuitive.
I really like this program too. I was wondering though if when placing ships at the beginning, is there is any way to change the orientation of the ship? Or do you have to always place them facing forward?
Hmmm... I just tried it and noticed something odd. I went to fire ion missiles and it asked me if I wanted to spend my lock or a force charge. My lock shouldn't get spent to fire them. That's a pretty big bug.
You can play X-Wing on the PC against an ai?! Where has this been hiding?! Edit: ok, it's got some bugs. But it's got potential. And the UI scaling could use some work.

This looks amazing. Maybe next time you can take yourself off camera so we can see the game better. Not sure why some of you guys think we watch these to see you.

Crabbok, you can check range by right-click your target. You are able to rotate the ships and obstacles by pressing [Q] and [E].

Absolutely amazing! Really glad this supports 1.0 too because I never did make the jump to 2.0

Yes keep your ship off the and you can rotate them arrow keys on pc, hold down on your ship and swip with other finger on Mobile.
Use the [Q] and [E] keys to rotate ships and obstacles.

ive been playing fly casual for years, proper good program and the AI aint stupid, it can be hard to win sometimes

I like to test my builds on that app. It has a few bugs, but it is still fun to play on it. Wish there was something similar for Armada

That is a pretty tanky Bwing list,. Braylen is my fav bwing pilot as he can use his for offense and defense consistently
