Sabbath, June 13: The Best Thing

Here's a word from Pastor George: "Is it just me, or is life actually speeding up with so many demands and distractions that we basically need a degree in multitasking just to keep up? Add a COVID crisis to the mix and you've got the perfect recipe for a tense, stressed-out life. Enter Jesus with a response to Martha that speaks directly to you and me. 'You are anxious and troubled about many things, but only 'one thing' is necessary.' What is that one necessary thing? Are there so many good things engaging you that they have actually become the enemy of the Best Thing? What is your one thing? Or should I say, 'Who?'"
