We shouldn’t do any comparisons between any Mandirs. Both Shree Ram Mandir in Ayodhya and Swaminarayan Akshardham USA have their own uniqueness and yet they are spreading the same message of Sanatan Dharma. Bhagwan Shree Ram will sit in his birthplace in Ayodhya in coming January 2024. That is a big event for Hindus across the globe.
In the Swaminarayan tradition, Swaminarayan is revered as the manifestation of God, but the concept of him being recognized as "Bhagwan" (God) is a matter of faith and belief among his followers. The exact moment or event when he was declared as Bhagwan may vary within different communities of the Swaminarayan Sampraday. Different followers within the Swaminarayan tradition might have their own interpretations and beliefs regarding when he attained the status of Bhagwan.
I’m not a Hindu, so please bear with me for asking these questions about reincarnation, and forgive me if my questions are out of topic. First, is the soul aware during the time of reincarnation, from one body to another? If so, can the soul choose its reincarnation? If not, why would reincarnation matter? If, for the sake of discussion, I die and reincarnate as an elephant---would I, the elephant, be aware that I was once a human being? If not, it would not really matter, would it? What if, you are a devout Hindu priest and you die, and then your soul is reincarnated into a very religious Catholic family, and one day you become a Catholic priest? Does it really matter which religion you are born into? Please educate me on the nature of reincarnation. I have been watching possible reincarnations on TH-cam, and I find it really fascinating. If I could choose the manner of my reincarnation, I’d like to be reincarnated as the son of a very, very wealthy family.
The soul does not choose reincarnation. If the soul is reincarnation (which is not good) it is reincarnated based on the three types of karma accumulated in the past life.
Yes religion does matter in reincarnation but ultimately that is a complicated question as what past karmas would lead you to that and that we believe all paths are eventually leading to the same god. It’s better to be a good person and strive to be a good person and attain moksha.
If you are greedy for a wealthy family that greed instead will bind your atma and make you go into a rich family or determined on ur past karmas will make you poor to punish you for choosing greed over being a good person or a better person. Hinduism teaches that besides god and the atma material pleasures lead to suffering.
How do you show a clip of Sri darbar sahib golden temple and say Hindu worship place? Sri Darbar Sahib is a place of worship of all but it’s created by Sikhs. Not Hindus. Please don’t misguide public by attaching a clip and saying a Hindu place of worship. Be better
You are not Sikh.. you behave like Abrahmic faith similar to Islam.... Lol As a Hindu we pray for everything which influence us in a good way. From Himalayas to Kanya Kumari
Go do a quick research on what "Ek Onkar" / "One Om" in your religion means And look where does it comes from! Go study history of real Sikhism, not the fake one based on hate! Hindus and Sikhs always believed in one truth!
The reason I dont like it is because 1. Its totally colorless for no reason, which just makes it very visually unappealing, and 2. The idols of literal gods are smaller than their teachers and gurus, which is bizzare

Bigger than Ayodhya temple 🕉🛕
Sad to know that we have not big temple in India ....
ISKCON Mayapur "Temple of Vedic planetarium" is largest (340 feet height & 750 acres temple complex).

The soul is aware as it is immortant unchanging cannot be burnt destroyed replaced etc. it is infinite and is indestructible.
