You are naive if you think the presence of the US military is to solely serve the purpose of defending SK from NK. That time has long passed since 90's. When SK overtook NK in military capabilities. Now the new cold war has started for the global hegemony between US vs China. And Korean peninsula happens to be the forefront of this conflict in terms of geopolitical position. Geographically Korea is located like a dagger aiming at heart of China. And I don't think US will relinquish this advantage anytime soon.

U can quickly advance on peninsula or attack just like actual war that was fought. How quick can u land or get out, & near shore how fast can u control or counter a threat airship little creek super fast no 1 builds any more. A quality air ship can b peace time ferry ship all over the world commercially. Short shipping can be done by airships if u make your design less maintenance heavy. If u build same goddamn stuff as every1 else u won't get sale bc they will just make it themselves or rigged sale bs! HCX-19 Multi-Mission bay sounds similar to the type 26 idea which makes sense
The Type 26 is a world leader at present. So it's natural any future concepts will be inspired by the 26.
