I think you should watch videos where Spanish is spoken frequently, such as vlogs.. that's what I'm going to do after I finish these basic lessons and I think if you watch someone speak Spanish regularly, you'll get used to using confusing forms correctly

E.g. shivangi may have some definition but nobody is interested in knowing that when they ask your name. But when you ask someone their profession you are seeking the definition (medico is self defining).

You've probably figured this out by yourself, but i'd assume it's as this language which is pretty old fashioned (female and male words ?) used it as a phrase to determine what the breadwinner of ones family did, which would dictate their social class, general standing in society and future prospects.
