i think some people just don't understand how sensitive it is for yixing right now - and how it has been for years. he's not neglecting exo. he's not maliciously scraping along between china and sk with busy schedules or intending to not promote with the other boys. trust me, i bet he wants more than anything to share the stage with them. but honestly he can't. sm is risking everything just by giving him the little screen time he does have in the korean version of the mv. yixing probably would risk it himself to fully promote with the boys he's grown to love so much all these years, but sm is choosing to protect him. yes, i said protect. they're not holding him back or punishing him because he's the last chinese member left. they are protecting him because of the politics, and namely the fact that he holds such a respected position in the government's perspective. i wish he could be here too, but it's more important to me that he's safe and doing what's best for him. i wish people would stop bashing him, the rest of exo, and sm for all of these unfortunate circumstances. sm isn't doing anything wrong here imo. we are one. let's not allow that to change.

Sometimes even the group itself aren't satisfied with the choice in title track, mostly from what I've seen due to having to pick a song that has mainstream appeal. You'll even see them instead promoting other songs off the album. But, as someone already pointed out, its all subjective anyway. Sure, they pick title songs with mass appeal most of the time and usual there's a high chance that selection will pay off, but at the end of the day we all like specific kinds of music or have certain production pieces in certain songs that we like more or would have liked to have been given the title track spotlight. That goes for fans and groups alike. As long as there are still songs to enjoy really, that's all that matters. At least from my perspective. We still get great songs. Full albums and mini albums and what have you. No matter if we like them or not, they are there to enjoy and judge. They are there to mark an era of progress for these idols, in range, tone, and genre. Witnessing it is part of the fun. And, hey, if there's a song both fans and idol groups agree is bad, we get to tease them for it by singing it at them or typing it occassionally on streams. I do agree though, most of the time EXO's sound tend to shine through the other tracks, but that's just my opinion and we'll only know what we like if we give the albums a listen. Kudos to you for knowing what you like, I still haven't checked out the album myself.
