So it was the tint without binders, you do not need the full paint mix as the raptor will bond with the tint alone, I went to an automotive paint place called "finishmasters" and asked them for the jeeps paint code tint only with no binders.
1: I think you should line a grill in black. Take away that gloss bit still have the contrast. 2: How does it clean up? Assuming you off-road it atleast a little, how does the mud and such come off? Is it hard to get it totally clean or does a low power pressure wash do the trick? Very interested as I'm thinking of doing it to my TJ.
I debated the black grill but ended up keeping the tank colored grill. To clean is easy just power wash or spray with degreaser and power wash worst case use a soft bristle boat brush.
That's awesome. I would love to do that when I get a jeep. I would totally do the grill in a black because it would match the fenders more than the gloss would. That's just my opinion though.

If you had to do it again is there anything you would have done different? Sorry for all the questions. Thanks again!!
That was the same question I was gonna ask. Wait for a full cure then pull the tape or pull the tape while still "wet" to make sure the lines are sharp
Philip Whatley no, not while still wet, so in another video I showed a Jeep at the barett Jackson auction when you pull tape when wet you will get these tiny little hairs that come with it, I waited till dry to the touch and used an exacto knife and took my time to peel the tape up

Came out nice, thinking of doing mine but in black, I noticed you have fender liners on, do you hear a rattle or does it make noise when you go over medium to hard bumps?
when offroading usually you scratch up the paint on the jeep, down here in florida it is common for clear coats to bubble and peels the sun just cooks everything here, the raptor is much tougher and sprays on thick to withstand the scratches.
Did you have any problem putting the tail lights back on due to thickness of the Raptor? Did I notice you removed the windshield hinge cover bolts, why?
no i did not, so the first week or so the raptor really is not rock solid, it will still kind of be a bit rubbery. so you can get everything back on and torqued down and it will fit perfect
