Proton saga really is an iconic car in malaysia and i too personally. I think proton really should give an extra attention and love to the saga, the next gen saga especially to maintain these loyal customers. Nevertheless great to see young malaysian appreciating their cars!

from BLM onwards, the handling of saga is improved TREMENDOUS, even B or C segment Japanese/Korean cars don't have this kind of handling, as a ex BLM owner I miss the saga BLM handling so so much
My dad had one in 2001(bought that year) iirc. Boy that car gave me many thrills on the road. Much harder to handle than the wiras I drove before but it never failed to deliver when I needed it. The lack of power steering meant the steering was more responsive in an less than ideal situation
I still can't forget the time I drove a SAGA BLM and I sapu corner without hesitation at 120KM/J, my 2 other passengers was shock at my action! Thank you SAGA for giving such confident that time!
I remember one day my grandmother fetch me to school with a silver original saga 1.3 3-speed auto , after fetching me she just drive straight into a ditch by accident in front of my school. So embarrassing. 😂😂
Wish there was b roll of the interiors of the cars especially when the owners were talking, would have loved to see the condition and close up interior shots of the older cars
My version of the saga story? Pretty simple. I did my first ever parking in my mom's Proton Iswara hatchback (the orange one you see in this video) back in the day. It was quite memorable
Apparently my parent's Proton Saga BLM (manual) also my first car to drive manual isnt that problematic as most people claim atleast in my experience, 10 years of use just change wear and tear parts and no weird issue, just lately the a/c compressor is dead but the cost to replace it is still reasonably priced. Ride and handling still great as the new 2019 Saga Premium but about the acceleration is still so-so compared to other car
hi bro, i am the owner of the saga FL, i noticed i said wrong when watching the video. This car was bought on the year 2011, it is the saga fl 1.6 executive and it only came in white colour with grey and red stripes but the stripes have been taken off on the delivery day.
