Saipan Jungle Fowl Chicken breeding flock belonging to Cackle Hatchery. Cackle Hatchery produces it's own hatching eggs from this flock for hatching Saipan Jungle Fowl Chicks for Sale.
One of many chicken videos by Cackle Hatchery.
The Saipan chicken is commonly called a Jungle Fowl; however, they are not to be confused with the true Jungle Fowl. The Saipan male can stand 2-3 feet tall, with tight feathering, shorter tail than most birds and as a 2-3 year old becomes very muscular and upright stature. They are slow to mature. During the Second World War, Saipan chickens were brought to the United States from Southeastern Asia and India.

@Cackle Hatchery I am so ecstatic that I got to order some of these gorgeous birds from you guys, I'm hoping as they are "not sexed" I end up with a few females. I realize that they aren't accepted by the APA but that doesn't deter me a single bit on owning these awesome looking birds. They're for pet purposes and I'm truly thrilled, March 14th cannot get here soon enough.

I've been wanting to breed Asian game for a while now.
What interests me most are the Tallest, most Dinosaur-like, that show pure traits true to breed, and endangered.
I'm having a real hard time finding someone I can trust with the breeds I want.
I narrowed it down to 5 species.
    1. *Malay*
    2. *Shamo*
    3. *Long tail Parrot beak Aseel*
    4. *Saipan Jungle Fowl*
    5. *Ayam Cemani*
*The Good thing is, you guys have the Saipan*, and I will be starting with that.
At the same time I will be getting the 3 Brahma types from you. (Dark ,Buff, & light)
Although I will keep these breeds pure for resale, I want to play around with crossing the Brahmas with Saipans, in hope of getting some Cool Hybrids.
    *What do you think?*
Having the connections Cackle Hatchery has, I really wish you guys could start breeding the other 4 species I mentioned.
I think they would be a big hit in the USA.
The Long tail parrot beak is hard to acquire unless you get eggs from India.
    The Shamo is scarce.
The Ayam Cemani is in great demand, eats the same food as any other chicken, but fetche$ a pretty penny!
And the Malay (my favorite) is very limited with sketchy blood lines.
Malays need to be more seriously breed from true bloodlines, more wide spread in the US, and off the endangered list.
Being the tallest and most endangered, it's very sought after, and there's no reason it's *conservation status* should be *"Critical"*
I would love to get Malays from the *Cackle Hatchery*.
Have you guys ever thought about offering these other species?
Thanks for your time, and this video

Yes our breeder flocks are more commercialized not so much put up for show. if we had our choice we would have them nice and kept in good feather. We are a hatchery and we would run out of space and drive our flock owners crazy on the amount of pen space that would take up. We appreciate your comment and it will be taken into consideration to slowly move to more presentable penning. Thanks again.
