I'm a buckeye and am thrilled with the win. MUCH respect for Marcus Freeman and Notre Dame. High academic standards AND put together a phenomenal team. Great game.
Beating 6 out of 11 playoff teams is a wild stat. OSU was truly dominate this year, the Michigan game seems to just be a psychological hurdle at this point
Yes! It has to be a psychological issue, with Ohio State losing to Michigan! It sure isn’t an elite talent issue! I think that Day, and Kelly, coach not to lose, too conservative, and don’t let the most talented players, play to their potential! I think the greatest National Championship run in college football history, more than makes up for the 1 point loss, to Oregon, early in the season, at Oregon, and the 3 point debacle against Michigan! ❤️🌰🏈
@@JeffreyLeohnerAgreed. I’ll say the Oregon loss doesn’t really hold any weight after we absolutely obliterated them in the Rose Bowl. That loss to the Wolverines though… that still stings. Even after running through the most epic CFP gauntlet to date. The only way that loss gets vindicated is if we get a huge win again like 28 (62-39). I mean I will be happy with any win in the big house this year, but man… we are due to put a whopping on them.
The critics weren’t proven wrong- they were proven right. OSU is not a fun place if you lose, but no greater place when you win. Congratulations to Buckeye nation.
You aren't sure if this won't go down as an all time great time just because of a 3 point loss to Michigan? They beat 6 top 10 teams this year, running 4 of them in a row in December and January. Two of them were highly ranked SEC teams and one of them was the #1 team in the country that they blew out in the Rose Bowl. If this wasn't an all time great Buckeyes team, I'd like to know what that team would look like.
They won't be "an all time great team" because they had 2 losses, 1 to Michigan in the final week. I think Ohio St is only the 2nd 2 loss NC. LSU in 07 I think was the other.
IMHO, the moment OSU won the game was when it finalized its offensive game plan. OSU completely out-schemed ND. Unstoppable, really. (And I am NOT an OSU fan - I am an "orphaned" PAC-12 guy)
As a ryan day skeptic OSU fan, I never called for his job bc what do I know? But I was also sick of him not getting it done not just against michigan, but against all his peer opponents. He earned respect from me for turning that trend around, but he still has to beat michigan to stay outta the dog house here. Sorry not sorry that's how this works 🤷
cry cry and cry some more. i don't like it either, but it doesn't matter. enjoy it or don't watch. why comment and be a hater? must be a poor school fan lmao
@@electrickspatula Where does the other guy get 9th?? 🤔 lmao, see, any nimrod can "claim" false Championships. Alabama made a cottage industry of it pre Saban.
no you clown, we've definitely won 7. Google it. It will actually say 9 claimed and 7 WON. cope harder. Must be a fan of the Soft Easy Conference. Well there is a new sheriff in town and that is the B1G10.
OSU was 5th in NIL spending if memory serves and Riley Leonard got paid $1.5 million to go to notre dame when will howard got $1 million. Do your research before you say something stupid
College football is fixed. This is the worst the sport has looked in my lifetime. Nil and transfer portal with these new soft immature entitled kids makes the game unwatchable.

Historic season & the Buckeyes always seem to be around… fitting end
First. GO BUCKS!!!
Touchdown Jesus was in attendance at the game. But he was playing for The Ohio State University. You can take that back to South bend crying Irish.😢

Its the NINTH title for the buckeyes, dear sESPNc.....not the 7th
They've only won 5 actually. You can't just CLAIM anything you want, that doesn't make it true.

Highest paid QB, and highest paid team in college football.

Ohio state beat all 4 teams who spent more on rosters than Ohio State. Why are 62 IQs allowed to speak?
Cry that all the previous teams osu beat used nil as well
The misinformation is insane, OSU didn’t spend the most

SEC fan?
Correction: college football *was* fixed, NIL just leveled the playing field. You must be an SEC fan
