Eastwood complains about the DUP being the only voice for Northern Ireland, and his party promotes Lillian Seenoi-Barr who speaks in the divisive language of "us" and them:
"us, as so-called newcomers.. are the ones that are going to drive not just the economic, cultural and social respect for Ireland but actually show that it is moving forward"
So she sees herself and other non-Irish people as the ones who will drive respect for Ireland, not the Irish people - who, btw, built this country into the place that she wanted to come to (you're welcome, Lilian) Yet she is "forward", not the backwards Paddies
If an Irish person moved to Kenya and said what they would drive "cultural and social respect" for Kenya, they would be called racist, and rightly so
She's as anti-Irish as the DUP ever were. Well done Colum Eastwood
