I really enjoyed your video! Just bought property in New Bridge Polo back in March. Scoured the country and it truly is a beautiful place. However, it is too expensive with materials and labor to build my dream home right now. This would be a great topic for another view, on how much are homes in different equestrian communities, as well as, a cost to build (especially right now). Purchasing property to build, versus buying a home out right (which of course in New Bridge) are far and few in between, so building would be the best option. Great job!

We built in Bridle creek for a nice green place to ride our horses. Moved in in February and now the equestrian communities in our area are having to fight the electric company because the plan to run a high power lines through our area. If you want to join the fight, let us know. We have Senator Young and others on our side.
I want to retire in Aiken in a few years. I love horses but is all of Aiken mostly horse country? I don't know exactly how populated Aiken is but I want a home that isn't close to anyone else's. I love my privacy and not interested in an HOA because I don't like restrictions. I know a lot of the newer development have HOAs but the horror stories are enough to turn me completely off. Is it possible to find a home in a great and safe area of time with other retirees?

I definitely understand your wish to have some space - I have a few acres myself and it’s so nice to have the privacy and will to do what you want with your property.
