This song was so hype in the Animation. Was interesting seeing Terminalmontage make a serious video for a change, and this music upped the factor X percent. Always love your remixes, always love your music, and I can't wait for your next project. You really know how to set moods, and you put a lot of love and pride and your very soul into the music you make. You're one of the few content creators I see that I know for a fact put their very essence into their creations. If I could give you more thumbs up I would. Stay Awes9me
Absolutely agreed, TerminalMontage is a legend already, and when i heard the banger during the video it just elevated the video to new heights, not easy to do, really really good
@@MyNewSoundtrack you deserve them. I've seen your Livestreams. I've seen how long it takes you to make the Midi and then choose your instruments, and then master said tracks over and over and over. You're not just, eh close enough, NO. You make sure that the song is at YOUR standards, and not many other people do that. Wish you only the best in your endeavors, and I hope that the spark of your creativity never changes, because with it, you will continue to blow me and everyone else away. Stay Awes9me
The instrumentation of the remix fit really well with the spooky atmosphere of the animation, yet the song itself is still upbeat enough to fit the frantic scenes during the animation as well. Really weird to think how creepy a Pac-Man game can be with the right context and music.
Theoretically, Pac Man is a survival horror game. The game is basically a manhunt in a maze. He may be eating dots, but he's a victim and is continuously being stalked by ghosts in a maze with power pellets being sanctuary and last resort.
Every time I think of this song now, I’m gonna remember Terminals PAC engineers fighting off eldritch space ghosts on their deserted space outpost. It’s just that good.
I can't help but think slightly about Time Rift Collapse when hearing this. It isn't too surprising, both songs were used in a theme of desperation and panic, frantically looking for an escape. And I can say that this song did its role perfectly. But I can't say this song is based on Time Rift Collapse, that would be exaggerating. Time Rift Collapse is more "joyful" encouraging you to hurry still, while this one sounds like it's a rush for your life.
They both have an upbeat melody, but the drum and bass really sell the fear factor, which frankly, is what PAC-Man is all about. Behind that fun fanfare is a game where you are constantly running for your life.
JordanViknar I agree. TRC had more of a "Hurry! You can make it, just a little more!" type feeling, whereas this one maintains that feeling of urgency; but also feels much more dire at the same time. TRC has a feeling of optimistic urgency, while PacTerror has more of a pessimistic "if you don't hurry you are GOING to die" kind of intensity. Both are fast paced and meant to get your adrenaline racing, but the slightly darker tones in PacTerror come across as way more 'high stakes' so to speak.
Another spectacular collaboration between animation magic and musical turtle master. This was awesome to watch, and you did a great job setting the tone with your music 👍🏻
This could be used for soo many situations: 1. Escape chase 2. Pizza tower Pizza time 3. When you're low on HP 4. Mid-Boss as the last alive 5. While clutching the match 6. While going Tryhard 7. When locked in [You keep the list going]
Man, when TerminalMontage added this on PacMan, I was very stressed by everything that happened in the animation. I liked that there's something serious and with music that knew how to make your hair stand on per Pac Man & Miss Pac Man. I love it! 🙏🏻
This track was so incredibly well done. It really heightened the drama in the animation. The desperation in the music really came out loud and clear, and it was perfect. I'm used to Terminal's videos being more gag than substance, but you did an amazing job setting the tone, I never thought I'd be on the edge of my seat for something like that. I guess in a way, the vibe I get from this one, is the last dance before the end of the world, because it's also a serious bop on top of feeling the melancholy that the end is getting ever closer.
Blessed once again with fantastic music from an extremely talented turtle. Also, i knew this was championship styled music when i first heard it. I play that shit at least once a day.
time to put this shit on LOOP. i stand by my response to the fact you were gonna upload it and that this totally adds it's own vibe while staying close to the original and i LOVE IT. thoughts: so you know how i said this totally has it's own vibe? this is more 'muted', perfect for being panic ambience where as the original is far more fitting of Championship Edition's trademark "Pac Man chaos" of going on a chomping spree, while having a hint of "run bitch, RUN". the muted nature of this remix means it allows the 'hint' of "run bitch, RUN" to take center stage, which is genuinely PERFECT for when this begins playing in the video. it's a PERFECT 'panic song' for what Terminal Montage made.
