When you say ``Tokyo'', there is a big city, but there is also a huge countryside, and there is a wide variety of cityscapes that give you a feel of old Japan, otaku culture, etc.
I finally got to cross the scramble crossing when I was there but I wasn't able to visit the tower viewing platform in the daytime. This is definitely on my list for next time. I did go to the top of Skytree and I completely agree with everyone else who says Tokyo feels endless from every angle. It's crazy how densely built the metropolitan area is.
Japan is a beautiful country and the Japanese have always seemed to be a very clever race of people who are very advanced when it comes to anything technical. Comparing Japan with other Asian countries should never be done. Think of China and the crap they sell, the scams they carry out, their knock-offs (piss poor copies) of everything etc... then look at Korea, South has been ok for many years but North Korea is horrendous (along with China) with how they control those who live there. Taiwan looks beautiful but I can imagine Xi Jinping will destroy it soon because they refuse to roll over and become part of China. Hong Kong when British was fantastic but handing it back to China was a grave error. May Japan stay as beautiful and advanced for ever more

just went to shibuya square last week around 5 pm. The ticket to the Sky was sold out for the day. A ton of tourists and lines of people everywhere. It was bummer I couldn't get to the top here but would have been terrible anyways with zillion people filling the roof top. Hope to get up there one day with only a few people!
I’m sorry to hear that. You need to make a reservation in advance in order to get up there. But even if you have an advance ticket, if the weather is not good, they close the rooftop.
Thank you so much for the high quality video, I saw the new National Stadium (新国立竞技场in Tokyo for the 2020 Olympic Games, and the Toranomon Azabudai Project under construction behind Roppongi New Town, which will be completed in 2023 and is the second tallest building(330m) in Japan besides the Tokyo Sky Tree(634m) I'm looking forward to visiting Japan again ！
That is a must visit. Amazing views of all the skyscraper areas of Tokyo, it's great to see them all with that 360° walk. And they really went all in with the experience on that second elevator (9:38), as if you are really going to the sky :)
People there are so polite, if you were filming here in the US, every two seconds you would have some idiot asking "hey what are you filming" or they would be trying to dance in the camera or something.

I hope they are prepared when 🇯🇵 opens again I’ve been hearing summer which is 2 weeks almost June. OMG Yoshi! I could never go up there. I do not do heights well at all. I had to fast forward some for it was hard to watch. That is an interesting place. Glad you did the video. I would never seen that otherwise. I made the mistake of going in the Eiffel Tower. I never hugged a piece of steel so tightly. I never made it to the top just the first level. 😁

ここはよく見え、息づく街並みが手に取るようです。オープンな屋上も素晴らしい。
そして外国の方々に見て欲しい。大都会東京も実は緑溢れた街だという事。
神宮外苑や新宿御苑以外の緑地「あれっ？あそこは？」という場所も幾つかあり興味深かったし
遠くのビル群は武蔵小杉？・・や東京タワーが今では低く見えるなど、とても面白い内容でした。
日本人でもここを訪れることが出来る人達は一握り。素晴らしい映像をありがとうございます。
別に、緑で溢れてはいないでしょう。確かに緑地もありますが、街の広さと比べるとかなり少なく感じてしまいます。だからこそ、東京は外国人の方々からコンクリートジャングルと揶揄されています。

I checked out Shibuya Sky, Tokyo Tower, Tokyo Skytree and I think Shibuya Sky is the best out of those three for the atmopshere and view.

Were staying in Shibuya each time in Tokyo for at 10 years till covid hits. Will return in April.
