He was channeling Little Richard in "I'm Down". You wouldn't know that, of course, because you couldn't be bothered listening to anything before "Revolver," as you're told by others who also don't know what they're talking about.
Pauls Voice Bass And Piano John And Georges Harmonies And Guitars And Ringos Drums Blended Together Superbly For Another Sublime Beatle Song !!!! So Good You Played It Twice LOL !!
Me too. But my favorite has always been John. What's awesome is each one was unique. And brought his own talents as they experimented to create! I did a research paper on The Beatles in high school 1979. When friends told me about them.. gave me an 8 track tape to play and hear! Wow!! Their songs really opened this teen's eyes and expanded her mind! Fell in love with their music!🎶 I even got some of my peers turned on to The Beatles. Time and decades passed, life happens!..I've rediscovered the Fab 4 again. Respect them and the music 🎵 they gave the world more than ever!!
Nice reaction to this classic, underplayed Beatles song! Don't you just love Paul's raspy vocal power and range on this one. Try the live from CitiField NYC concert version of "Drive My Car" with PM and his band "Wings".
Great attempt with your acapella version. I know very very few people who can sing this in the original key (though many have tried) You have great rhythm in your voice too.
Phil Spector ... Producer of Let it Be ..Imagine...Be My Baby...and You've Lost that Lovin Feeling said that Paul and John had the greatest voices in Rock n Roll history !! When you hear this song you understand why! 😊 Peace and love from London.....Fin ❤
Just read y'all's comments, I know I'm coming late to the party, but I just gotta tell ya if I could come close to holding a note I'd blow all of ya outta the water.
If I can give you in a nod in the direction of Blackbird by The Beatles It is a beautiful song with a metaphor. You will glad you worked the metaphor out !
@@mokrodog Why do you say that? Do you like stupid ideas that have just been adopted and copied mindlessly with a monkey see, monkey do justification? Well?
Paul's voice is amazing. His range is great and in this case it is incredible powerful. Paul is a very good singer.

Paul is starting to channel a bit of Little Richard, his teacher, in this song.

Paul can do mellow like in Here, There and Everywhere, Let it Be or Yesterday, but he can really belt them as in this tune.
You need to listen to the Rooftop concert 1969 it on LaRaza utube channel

What if Tom Jones sang this song?
Paul had very too high voice
Why play an excerpt of the song before your reaction video? That's something that somebody with a marketing mentality would think to do.
Shut up
