Cyclops doing a Superhero Landing without needing his hand to actually touch the ground = Biggest Marvel Badass Ever

This series is true redemption for Cyclops. He came off as a prick parent figure in the original series. Now he comes off as a passionate leader with true skill. I love it.

"Please, don't make me let you down!".....I literally stood up in my living room and clapped😂😂😂

storm using lightning to turn a desert into glass is the coolest x men thing that's ever happened

  • @fedarik9484

Storm being shocked and jumping at the thunder noise was such an awesome small moment. Its probably the first time in her entire adult life a thunder bolt has occurred without her expecting it.

Magnetos speach at the end of episode 2....bruh....so good

My favorite moment of the episodes was when Morph saw how Wolverine was lonely, so they walked up to Logan with a case of beer. However, Morph recognized that it wasn't enough to get Logan out of his stupor, so he turned into Sabertooth, to let Wolverine fight out that aggression and frustration.

The real winner of X-Men 97: Morph, of all people. Turned into an absolute powerhouse.

    Omega level threat detected

Cyclops' action sequences were my favorite parts of the show. They really showed how versatile his power is like how he used the force to add to his evasive movements.

They were like, “what can we do with Jean that IS NOT the phenix saga?”

    “Cyclops is so cool”

They introduced Inferno AND Lifedeath in the same legendary episode with one of the very best Magneto speeches/performances of all time. This show is instant legend material. I am a very, VERY happy old millennial.

These first 2 episodes alone kind of reignited my love for the X-Men. It's been a while since we've had any good mutant related stuff put to screen and now I remember why X-Men are so good. Hoping for 10 more seasons of this amazing show, I just cant stop thinking about it! 👏 👏👏

The 2nd episode reminded me why I love Magneto as a character so much! His dialogue and voice acting are absolutely perfect in X-Men 97!

In the second episode, Executioner makes a point of talking about how annoyed he is that mutants complain about their situation. He says something along the lines of "I'm tired of your whining, it's hard being normal as well" and it's just a wonderfully topical moment. A lot of the backlash against oppressed communities comes from that feeling of "I have it hard too, what makes you special?" As if that justifies bigotry, instead of solidarity.

The best part is the characterization and the emotion are well earned in just 2 episodes, that speech from Magneto during the trial is just well done

In the comics Storms powerless journey ends with her getting her powers back during "The Adversary" storyline. If they do that story.......holy shit!

  • @robmarney

The choice to mine the last half of the Claremont run is genius. Inferno hasn't been done to death and it's pure soap opera goodness.

  • @DavisCentis

I heard voices, and it's like "wait, that's the exact same voice for Storm as before..." then looked it all up. The number of returning voices is AMAZING! And that so many of them are Canadian!?! I had no clue!
