Hello Tersh, I need to replace a capacitor on my condenser. The old one has 3 terminals (com/fan/herm). The new one I got has 4 terminals (com/fan/herm/cpt) How do I connect the wiring to the condenser? Just don't use the cpt terminal? thank you.
There’s nothing special about these jumpers. You can actually build your own with two female spade connectors and some wire. You can pick all of that stuff up from your local hardware store.
I took out a turbo 200 capacitor out of my unit I had someone check it with the meter and they said the one side of the capacitor was bad anyway I ordered a brand new one on Amazon is also a turbo 200 it's identical in every way except the new one has a CPT terminal Orange I'm not sure if I have to hook to that connection I basically wired it the same way as the old one but this CPT oranges got me a little confused
@@TershBlissett I went outside and and hooked up the capacitors I first disconnected the power from the main box outside to be safe hooked up all the wires turned it on the fan is running pretty slow and a compressor does not seem to be running at all🤕
how would you wire a 40/5 configuration since you need two jumper wires, what do I do with the extra wire? Thanks!
You can’t. I’ve tried. Either the fan or compressor won’t run if you wire a 40/5 because the 5 is either the 6 or the 4.

Do you sell just the jumper wires? I need one to get up to 35 5. Thank you.
Hi there @Jay Ortiz. The kits come with the jumper wires and I can give you some of them if you’re local in Savannah GA.
@@TershBlissett bummer…. I’m in TX….Happy to purchase if at all possible.
@@TershBlissett if not, is there a different brand of “jumper wires” I can buy online? Or are these specific to the Turbo?

If you can send me an e-mail with a picture of the new one, I’ll let you know for sure how it’s supposed to be wired.

I’m a handyman and not a licensed HVAC contractor. Is it a problem to do these repairs? I do them all the time but wonder if I need a license.
