This girl is just the greatest, and my idol and one with whom I danced with, Joyce Cuoco, has competition!!! Anyway, I have to admit, I sat and watched every young dancer, two actually were winners (I hope they didn't win over this young lady), doing the routine as Maria, but only ONE came close, and really not even, to the brilliance of Maria. She is absolutely incredible and wow, imagine when she gets on pointe, that will be amazing. Good luck to Maria, she is awesome. There really aren't enough superlatives.
@@aliceli6131 I don't know, probably no older than 10. Some teachers put their pupils on pointes early but this can provoke injuries later on. Most go on pointes when they are at least 11. She is amazing. So much expression, grace and maturity. I hope she will have a great career. It's very unusual for her to do what she does and be that good without pointes.
I remember wanting to go on Pointe and my dance teacher wouldn't until I was about 15. So, I believe she is 11 and too young. With that said, she should be brilliant when that time comes.
