    Hello Jeremy,
    I just passed my CCNA 2 days ago and it was thanks to you. I actually failed the CCNA two times already Until I found your videos and studied really hard and passed.

    Passed my ccna last week thanks to your course Jeremy! Can’t thank you enough! Excited to move onto ccnp next. Looks like I’m going to need a new rig to run CML

    jeremy you're the best dude. I just got my CML instance up and running after a few hours of troubleshooting (vmware player kept starting automatically before importing the iso images and it was causing issues). i can tell these labs will be incredibly helpful in studying for my encor.

    Thank you for including the add interface bit. Not sure how I missed it in my exploration.
    Great video. Even though I have been using it to lab for a month or so, I learnt a few important things.

    I am ready to use GNS3 but in CML it seems much more efficient.i will try to recreate the topology and copy paste the configuration files. I am so desperate ,checking your channel even if i get notification ...i cant wait...Jeremy,love and respect

    Hello Jeremy!
    Will the lab files that you include work with Eve -NG? Or GNS3 ? If not will it be possible for you to add an image (picture) of the whole lab (with device name and IP etc and lab objectives) so that we can build one ourselves on Eve NG or GNS 3.
    Thanks so much for your great content and your time.
    Really appreciate all you are doing for us.

    It looks like for starting/stopping nodes, going into consoles, etc., you now have to right click the node, not just hover over it. That got me for a little while

    classic content, the only disadvantage of CML is that it is for Cisco only, if you need to lab with other vendor for work/demo purpose better use other simulators tool like EVE-NG

    Hey Jeremy, will you be making a google sheet to track the topic coverage of this ENCOR series similar to what you did for CCNA? That was super helpful to follow as the videos were being released and to confirm my knowledge of the blueprint!

    By any chance, is there any information on the actual hardware this was all hosted on? I'm curious what the machine's CPU, RAM and HDD information, in order to have performed this lab. I'm still figuring things out for what hardware I will need to set up virtualization labs of my own.

    Where can we download the lab files

  • @YomLife
    @YomLife ปีที่แล้ว

    first of all thank you for your CCNA lectures, I used them and I passed. Now, I'm trying to get my CCNP. I'm using CML using cisco devnet's sandbox for free for 4 hours per day. However, when I try to import the yaml files from your labs, the CML import page show me an error message "Failed: Error importing topology file. VIRL2 import error: YamlTopologyImportException: 'timestamp' ". I inserted the line "timestamp: 2023-04-12T12:34:56Z" in the yaml files and tried it again, which couldn't be resolved, and I'm stuck. Any Ideas?

  • @Futureone
    @Futureone ปีที่แล้ว

    What's the difference / pros & cons between the CML on the Cisco website and downloading it locally?

    • @x3roxide
      @x3roxide ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you mean the one you can book in advance?
      The local one is much better. Able to save sessions, import and export lab configurations.
      you can also connect it to your real network/lab and do things just as you would be able to on a real network. If you have other cisco gear connected, it will even show up in stuff like "show cdp neighbors"
      If you're like me, you can even try something like installing Ansible and push configurations through that.
      *edit*
      I recommend that you have the memory for it though. I have 32Gb of ram and it seems enough for what I want it to do. But so far I've just stuck to iosv L3 and L2 images along with the "server" tiny core linux to simulate pings as they would look through an actual pc rather than a router.

    Hello from where is the configurations files for this lab?

    • @JeremysITLab
      @JeremysITLab  ปีที่แล้ว

      In this video we don’t use the devices, so their configurations don’t matter.

  • @saib555

    Is there a way to use labs in the sandbox version of CML? I'm getting a "Failed: Error importing topology file. VIRL2 import error: YamlTopologyImportException: 'timestamp'" error whenever i try to import yaml files.

    Hi, is GNS3 free and can I use it instead of CML? And what's the big difference of those 2.

    • @JeremysITLab
      @JeremysITLab  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Check the course intro video! I address this. GNS3 itself is free but you still need to get the IOS images to run Cisco devices. It’s illegal to download them off the internet, so I can’t recommend GNS3.
