Today makes exactly ONE month since I decided to finally start TH-cam and following your tips I’ve been able to get a lot of subs and views but I feel I need to work on my retention rates. She grabs us in with a hook, and she keeps giving us useful information instead of just talking about useless things. She is also making videos that people are searching for, and they are helpful. Annie. I swear. I started using your tips early this month and I went from 75 subs to now 111. It's slow but I know it works. I applied all of your SEO tips and it's working.
It’s a funny thing because as a new TH-camr we feel like a introduction is required, but nobody cares until they know how much you care. I am trying to work on the care aspect of my channel more. It’s not enough to just make great content, I also come to Annie’s channel for her. You feel like you know her after a while.

I think seeing improvements in audience retention on my channel is the most satisfying aspect of making content. I would rather have ten people watch my video all the way to the end than 50 people glance at it.

Yeah they come super slow, it’s hard at the beginning to get your subscribers to watch your videos all the way to the end. But using pattern interruption has helped me a lot with my channel. What has helped you keep your audience? :)

i cut my intro a while ago as well for that very reason!
I cut mine too and it helps a lot. I think it also makes you look more professional because experienced TH-camr often don’t do an intro.

Really helpful I have been wondering for a while how to gain watch hours.
Yeah they come super slow, it’s hard at the beginning to get your subscribers to watch your videos all the way to the end. But using pattern interruption has helped me a lot with my channel. What has helped you keep your audience? :)
