Take me 2 errors....1st Camera init failed with error 0x20001 or similar so y disconnect the cable of the camera and reconnect it, and then didn't work again, take me a 2 error. So... 2 error was Brownout detector or Guru meditation error, Fuck?¡?. I was unhappy but y look again in Trouble Page Esp32 and solve it. The 2 error was bad cable or connection, so y had a long usb cable that doesn't put enough current to my Esp32.
That day i couldn't again make it to work.

As a solution I switched the jumper to 5V on the FTDI and moved the wire over to the 5V pin on the ESP32-CAM. Everything works fine now!

on page 14 of datasheet here www.espressif.com/sites/default/files/documentation/esp32-wroom-32_datasheet_en.pdf the absolute maximum is listed 3.6V. When I was recording the video, it missed the difference in voltage and as you saw the test worked. the upload last about 30 to 40 seconds. Perhaps it can tolerate it. But not the right approach.

You are welcome. it is about the tolerance of the input. the module is made for 3V maximum and when you use Arduino to program it, the voltage goes to 5V which might be harmful and damage the ESP32. But when I did it, the module survived. The best option would be to do level shifting like this snipboard.io/gJXm0c.jpg

Hello, I need help. Maybe you can recommend me something concrete or at least make some suggestions in both the HW and SW parts. Any help is welcome. I need to set up a kind of surveillance/streaming system for a project at my school. I would very much like to do it with something like ESP32-EYE or ESP32-CAM. My intention is to stream (or as close as possible) on TH-cam or FB directly from the module. I am not sure if that is possible and how to do it. I am very tight on time, and I don't have much money for testing either. I know that you have a lot of experience and have tested many modules. Please, which ESP module/camera/software could I use for that? Thank you very much.

It has been used in library line 103 here github.com/espressif/esp32-camera/blob/master/driver/include/esp_camera.h so you replace UXGA in FRAMESIZE_UXGA to SVGA which becomes FRAMESIZE_ SVGA and 800 × 600 (SVGA) is mentioned here en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphics_display_resolution I have updted the page for this camera on Robojax.com with regards to changing the frame resolution
