The C6 Corvette in general is the best looking Corvette made in my opinion, the C6 ZR1 is just a plain badass. I'd have one in either crystal red metallic or jet stream blue.

Man this brings back so many memories, I had same year and color ZR1 bone stock and I loved it. Came from a procharged c6z which the ZR1 wasn’t as fast but I didn’t regret trading it in for the ZR1. DAMN I miss my ZR1
There’s a ‘09 cyber grey with 11k miles for $81k in NC. Really not that bad of a price. I thought about takin my Z06 up there,but they probably wouldn’t do it.
@@mnoell35 $81K, That is still a good price for a 09 in todays market. At those miles, the CCB are likely to be in good shape unless he did some track time in those 11k miles. Is it a private seller or is that a dealer.
Damn, 81k. About 3 years back I was getting ready to sell my C5 and get a ZR1. I believe it had 17k miles and selling for 52k I kick myself for not pulling the trigger. I still have the C5 and just got a new Camaro SS 1le but if the prices drop I will make the move and replace the C5.
Great car! I feel the same way about my 06 Z06 - every time I get on it, can’t help but laugh! I recently went out for an hour ride. I came back 4 1/2 hours later 😆
I own a 2013 60th Anniversary Grand Sport Coupe and love everything about the C6 Corvette generation. Keep it stock with routine oil changes and it will live a long life.

The fabric on the convertible part was ripped so water would get in the car when it rained haha. It was a Junker but I loved it and it had a v8 and that's all I cared about lol.

Love how you did mention the tall gears, tho ...and a short history of this great car !! Best part was the adjustable exhaust, I know the higher end Mustangs have this as well. Very nice demo on the on/off operation . IT's crystal clear !! I wish camaros had this !!! Maybe the ZL1?
I have c6 z06 fully built that just put down 614hp and 530tq. Super fun car but truthfully the seats are nice for cruising or going straight. It’s when you start pushing it through turns you have to use your legs to hold you in place.

I'm torn, I like both and would supercharge the mustang to make similar/more horsepower and they are around the same price after supercharging the Mustang. Your ZR1 is beautiful and is definitely making me consider it over the Mustang. Hmm decisions
Plenty of room to haul the groceries. And as far as the interior goes, people forget it’s a design from 06. It was an improvement over the previous design, it’s clean, and if you’re doing it right, the last thing you are paying attention to is the interior! 😂
i dont think anyone complains about the seats being uncomfortable. they are a great road trip seat. the problem with them is they are a terrible seat for sporty driving or especially track driving. my c6 is a highway mile eater but if i ever track it ill replace the seat
As the owner of a C4 ZR-1, i'd love to have a '13 zr1. In it's day, "The King of The Hill" was awesome, but nothing compared to the performance of the C6. The C7 is obviously awesome too, but too damn expensive to even dream out lol. I will say my '91 has to best seats of all the Z's.
@TexasZR1 I'm in Ireland to be precise. There's no C6 ZR1 here, however they're a bit more popular on continental Europe (France, Germany, Luxembourg). Either way, one would have to be imported and it could basically cost 2x the price of one in the US.
Great video but audio could be better. I had an 08' 2LT in Jetstream Blue awesome color, now I have a 11' GS 3LT manual but this one is Crystal Red Met. Friggin love this car. ZR1 is " the shit" as we say. 70 yrs of awesome and neither Ford or Mopar have anything like it. Mine eats Mustangs,Chargers,and Challengers for lunch. Surprise's a lot of people just how fast this car is even with a little less power then some. Never lost on the street and I have never even taken it out of Touring mode lol.

I have the exact same color as you know different whatsoever I did upgrade my stereo unit go a ALPINE ILX-W650 with 7 inch high definition touchscreen all the apps, including TH-cam, Apple CarPlay, android, XM radio you name it you can put whatever you want It also boost up the power going into your speakers so it’s louder. It’s a 50×4 watts Comes with a back up camera that you don’t need what you need is 2 adapters that cost $4 a piece so you can function your steering wheel controls and your OEM back up camera a bracketing kit and a wiring kit for$15 Install is a joke. I watched a TH-cam video for five minutes and installed it all in under 30 minutes. All you need is this plastic to watch cost anywhere from $2 to $4 This is what I did I took the cover around the stereo and climate control area and put it to the side unscrewed the bracketing kit holding it in, took off the plug from the unit and disconnected it from the wire coming from the car grab the bracketing kit for the Alpine slide it into the bracket put it into the stereo area and screwed it back in but before you do that you plug in the wiring harness in the back and then you plug the other side into the wire coming out of the car and on the back you stick in the two adapters for your steering wheel control and your back up camera screw the stereo and pop the bracket back on the cover for your stereo and climate control. Very very easy install no cutting soldering not like back in the day. It’s all plug and play, I was going to get a professional stereo guy to do it. He said he’s very busy but he gave me the link on the video and told me this is the easiest thing to do I feel bad charging you $120. Trust me when I say this bro our cars are very very sexy powerful one-of-a-kind on the road and with that factory head unit nomad you need to change it up. Trust me I paid in total I’m gonna break it down for you. Here we go. ALPINE ILX-W650 $399 Wiring harness $5 Bracketing kit $10 Adapter for steering wheel $5 Adapter for OEM back up camera $5 Total price with tax $462.15 These are the 3 Vettes i own : C6 3 LT - 24,000 miles Bought New Oct 08 Z06 3LZ- 16,000 miles Used- Dec18 ZR1 3ZR- 2900 miles Used Oct 21 Right now I’m on the market for a C5 2004 Z06 I want to buy one in the dark, navy blue, and do the Gran Turismo grand sport appearance. If you Google it, you’ll see what I mean it’s just simple hood stripes, and some side decals with black rims and red leather seats. Also, I wanted to get a super charger from A&A pump it up to 900hp that way I can drive it on the street and take it on the track All you have to do is change out your rear wheels for the truck and have slick track tires for racing and I also ordered a custom stacker trailer that fits three Corvettes on top would be one golf cart one Corvette on the bottom would be the other 2 I have a dodge ram, 3500 mega cab, 4 x 4 Dually with not the regular Cummins but the high output, Cummins diesel motor and factory dodge air suspension to haul the Renegade 45 ft stacker trailer if you haven’t seen what I’m talking about just TH-cam it has a hydraulic lift. I can put for Corvettes in there but right now it will be three and one golf cart. Lol my every day driver is a Toyota Prius prime plug-in If there’s a way, send me your email or something where I can send you pictures of my head unit if you want to see that and the car trailer I am actually receiving the trailer right before Christmas. That was my Christmas gift to myself.

The issue with the seats isn’t comfort; it’s lack of lateral support, you slide around in the car with any aggressive turning.

Seats are comfortable but that's problem, try taking corners hard with them .

I did upgrade my stereo unit go a
ALPINE ILX-W650 with 7 inch high definition touchscreen all the apps, including TH-cam, Apple CarPlay, android, XM radio you name it you can put whatever you want
It also boost up the power going into your speakers so it’s louder. It’s a 50×4 watts
Comes with a back up camera that you don’t need what you need is 2 adapters that cost $4 a piece so you can function your steering wheel controls and your OEM back up camera a bracketing kit and a wiring kit for$15
Install is a joke. I watched a TH-cam video for five minutes and installed it all in under 30 minutes. All you need is this plastic to watch cost anywhere from $2 to $4
This is what I did I took the cover around the stereo and climate control area and put it to the side unscrewed the bracketing kit holding it in, took off the plug from the unit and disconnected it from the wire coming from the car grab the bracketing kit for the Alpine slide it into the bracket put it into the stereo area and screwed it back in but before you do that you plug in the wiring harness in the back and then you plug the other side into the wire coming out of the car and on the back you stick in the two adapters for your steering wheel control and your back up camera screw the stereo and pop the bracket back on the cover for your stereo and climate control. Very very easy install no cutting soldering not like back in the day. It’s all plug and play, I was going to get a professional stereo guy to do it. He said he’s very busy but he gave me the link on the video and told me this is the easiest thing to do I feel bad charging you $120. Trust me when I say this bro our cars are very very sexy powerful one-of-a-kind on the road and with that factory head unit nomad you need to change it up. Trust me I paid in total I’m gonna break it down for you. Here we go.

I want to buy one in the dark, navy blue, and do the Gran Turismo grand sport appearance. If you Google it, you’ll see what I mean it’s just simple hood stripes, and some side decals with black rims and red leather seats. Also, I wanted to get a super charger from A&A pump it up to 900hp that way I can drive it on the street and take it on the track
All you have to do is change out your rear wheels for the truck and have slick track tires for racing and I also ordered a custom stacker trailer that fits three Corvettes on top would be one golf cart one Corvette on the bottom would be the other 2 I have a dodge ram, 3500 mega cab, 4 x 4 Dually with not the regular Cummins but the high output, Cummins diesel motor and factory dodge air suspension to haul the Renegade 45 ft stacker trailer if you haven’t seen what I’m talking about just TH-cam it has a hydraulic lift. I can put for Corvettes in there but right now it will be three and one golf cart.
