I've cut branches this form but i never cut them all the way. I do 1/4 cuts. I get down and start pulling the limb. It may take awhile but I rather break it on pulls. Once i hear lightly/first breakings the limb while cutting like stressing the limb, I stop. So far (knock on hardwood) i am still alive. It can be done if you respect the danger and state laws requirements. Dont take short cuts on this type of jobs.

_Man I thought that branch was gonna swing that ladder out from underneath your feet._
One of the only videos I’ve seen where someone uses a ladder to cut/trim a tree and doesn’t get hurt.
Still a very stupid thing to do, though.
Only watching this bc I fell off a ladder yesterday, and I was lower and safer than this. He falls, he’s not on TH-cam the next day.
What can go wrong?
You need to notch the bottom and then come down from the top it will just fall straight down that’s dangerous the way you did that 😬
Yes I learned this a couple of days ago, never again
