But this team was just put together for charity and spreading christianity. Not really serious about winning it all. The goal was to have as much international exposure for these kids and have fun during the break.

Ang kailangan ng ating Philippine basketball team ay isang long term program na hindi na kailangan pang umasa sa pba….oo nga nasa pba sa ngaun ang mga the best talent ng basketball, kaso nababalewala lang kung kinakapos naman sa preparation dahil sa conflicting pba games katulad ng nangyari sa ngaung FWC 2019. Kaya sa tingin ko ang the best remedy dito ay bumuo na lang ng isang basketball national team na bukod at hindi dependent sa pba; na parang katulad ng NCC nung early 80’s. kasi balewala lang kahit sino pang magaling na coach at mga favorite players kung kulang ang preparation at mauuwi lang sa poor performance ng team. Kung may maayos na programa lahat will follow na yan kasama na diyan sa pagpili ng magaling na coach, mga right players, systems, game plans atbp. Dapat masimulan na ngaun para preparation for FWC 2023, maraming pang mga potential young Filipino and Fil-Foreign players na puedeng ma recruit dito. Ang kailangan lang isang malaking sponsor o private company or combination ng sbp at private company na kayang magbigay ng magandang salary and benefits na katulad ng natatanggap ng mga PBA players para di sila aalis at nakakontrata ng at least 5 years, at ang main goal only is to play for the Philippines.

don't expect a good performance with a two weeks preparation, di naman sea games ang FWC 2019...kahit sino pang favorite players and coach ang ilagay sa team end result poor performance pa rin...
Ang kailangan ng ating Philippine basketball team ay isang long term program na hindi na kailangan pang umasa sa pba….oo nga nasa pba sa ngaun ang mga the best talent ng basketball, kaso nababalewala lang kung kinakapos naman sa preparation dahil sa conflicting pba games katulad ng nangyari sa ngaung FWC 2019. Kaya sa tingin ko ang the best remedy dito ay bumuo na lang ng isang basketball national team na bukod at hindi dependent sa pba; na parang katulad ng NCC nung early 80’s. kasi balewala lang kahit sino pang magaling na coach at mga favorite players kung kulang ang preparation at mauuwi lang sa poor performance ng team. Kung may maayos na programa lahat will follow na yan kasama na diyan sa pagpili ng magaling na coach, mga right players, systems, game plans atbp. Dapat masimulan na ngaun para preparation for FWC 2023, maraming pang mga potential young Filipino and Fil-Foreign players na puedeng ma recruit dito. Ang kailangan lang isang malaking sponsor o private company or combination ng sbp at private company na kayang magbigay ng magandang salary and benefits na katulad ng natatanggap ng mga PBA players para di sila aalis at nakakontrata ng at least 5 years, at ang main goal only is to play for the Philippines.
