OMG! I laughed so hard when I saw what happened to your husband. It reminded me of the time I decided my husband's eyebrows were too bushy. It was our wedding day and I used an electric razor to trim the ends. Well, I guess you know I shaved off the end of his eyebrow. He was panicking and I was laughing so hard, I almost peed my pants. I used an eyebrow pencil and colored in the end of his brow. The good new is, he still married me anyway! Have a wonderful week!

You are by far the best TH-cam channel for facial needs. I call you my facial boot camp channel. I'm 60, just recently embraced my silver lining, (wisdom highlights) and I have somewhat thick brows like you. You are the reason I chose to stop coloring my grays and for that, I'm very grateful for you. I love your tips and swear by them. You are a God-send. Thank you for what you do ...

Excellent brow advice! I remember my mother always drilling it in my head to never touch tweeze my eyebrows as I grew up. So glad she convinced me not to follow the over tweezing trend!
However I did have a horrible experience with waxing many years ago and my eyebrows were never really the same afterwards. Now I’m in the midst of the gradual hormonal thinning!
Anyway, the story about your hubby made me laugh so hard! My husband actually had to come into the room and enquire why I was laughing so hard! Haha 😂 What hubbies do in the name of love! Lol

I use the eyebrows on a sheet, and you're right, they look pretty good!! I'm 65 and my eyebrows were dissappearing, so I tried many things! Those brow "tattoos" are really good when I need to go somewhere, because I was very anxious about how bad they looked! I don't have to worry about it now. What a relief!! And they're not expensive at all!

I have always been a brow snob. They are so important. Nikol, my mom’s brows were a bit similar to yours. She would never allow anyone to touch them. She was so right! As ihavegotten older, they aren’t where I want them…I have them micro bladed…love it.

    • @debcollins8231
      @debcollins8231 2 ปีที่แล้ว

I so get that. In the very early 1980s, I was the only one of my friends who used brow pencils just like my mom did. Although, she had fabulous brows. My brows were always thick but almost no arch or tail. I worked for Lauder near the millennium and according to their research, less than 15% of women got their brows professionally done. I have never gotten them micro bladed. I was told that will help a lot with my white hairs.

Have been obsessed over my brows for a long time. I’m 73 and have lost half my brow from the arch down. Don’t know whether a pencil or a brow powder is the best. Also the colors always appear too dark even though I buy the blonde shade. My hair is platinum but haven’t tried the silver color yet. I’m afraid it’ll be money wasted. Your tutorial was great and funny. Your husband deserves a medal. LOL

I bought the Gucci eyebrow pencil yesterday and the lady showed me the range of colours and they had a nice light one. Worth checking it out. It’s the best brow pencil I’ve ever used, I’ve always used benefit products and the Gucci one is way better and easier to use

I just started using the brow tattoos. Seriously, my husband couldn't tell I was wearing it! My (dyed) hair is light ash brown, and my facial features are pretty compact (close together) so long brows are overpowering for my facial features. I purchased the ash brown curved by Brows By Bossy. They lasted 3 full days on me! They looked GREAT on me. Totally game changer for my face. I do have a little bit of brow hair, it is sparse and mostly white, so I usually look like I've shaved them off, without makeup. These tattoos went over my sparse brows without any difficulty!
I've been mapping brows for a few years now. It works!

That brow story w/your husband is even funnier the 2nd time! Thx 4 much needed laugh.
I swear by both Grande Brow and Grande Lash serums.
Started with the brow - all of a sudden, there were my brows!
Ditto for lashes - I am never not going to use them.
I still have to fill in my brows, but much less. I, like many, overtweezed in the 70s.
Amen on going to ONLY a brow expert...most of us have learned that the hard way, too.

Nikol, we can talk about eyebrows forever because they are such an important if not the most important part of your look-THEY FRAME YOUR FACE and they should be strong and pronounced. I have had a lower blepharoplasty and and an endoscopic brow lift recently which I am 100% pleased with the results but really the best thing I have ever had done to my face was to have my eyebrows microbladed. They’re actually called Powder Brows because at age 68, I tend to have more of a combination skin. No more filling in every single day! What a time saver! I may have to just ever so slightly fill them in and I use my Madison Reed root touch-ip powder which can also be used as a brow powder. The shape is beautiful! There is only one technician I would go to in Destin, Fl (panhandle of Fl) a very, very professional young lady from Moldova. Bless her heart.

Oh my lord that is sooooooo funny . Makes me remember all the things I did to my husband when I was 17 and going to cosmetology school . I’ve given him a curly permanent , and dyed his hair blue/black Like Elvis . I even did finger waves lol anyway , I over plucked my eye brows as the 80s the eyebrow were quite thin fast forward 20 yrs ago I found a gentleman from Korea who was living in ny and he tattooed them he did an amazing job he did as you said mapped out my face and even gave me a lil higher of an arch so it literally looked like I had an eye lift I would go every few years for a touch and now guess what ? He moved back to Korea . I’m devastated now I need a touch up mainly the beginning of my eyebrow . I might just order the templates for that purpose ty Nikol 🌻🌻🌻
