I was so glad that they still had Omri Katz playing John Ross the 2nd. I watched him grow up on Dallas as JR Ewing's son! He played the role very well!
I never realised they split the episodes to balance JH/JM first in the credits. I'm glad they brought back the split screen for the final final season.
@@cwp4evaI could only speculate that one of the stars requested it... It's not uncommon - Living Single did it as well for Queen Latifah/Kim Coles (at least in later seasons)
Dallas should never stray from the famous three-panel slider that was the 1970s/early 1980s opening - although the 2012-2014 had some nice updates to the Dallas landscape.
The thing about the old titles from the 1970s 80s show was nobody had an ego trip to always be the 1st person up in the credits the way josh and jesse kept fighting over! The original cast back from the 70s and the 80s didn't have to have an ego trip because they knew the show was not all about them! It was very sad in the new reboot 2 stars thought the show was all about them and they just didn't have a clue that it wasn't!
Are you, @Tito Teixeira, going to do the same thing with the intro of Dynasty? I have to warn you, you will need much more videos, because from series 4 to series 8, there are a lot of changes in the intro and for some episodes, there is one exclusive intro, which was never used again.
The TNT Dallas series was terrible. I watched it, and I enjoyed it, but it's fan fiction. Cliff would have never been so awful. The people who ran that show knew nothing about Dallas.
Agreed about the showrunners, but not Cliff. Afton saw his ruthless Psychopathy creeping in as early as late Season 7. TNT just decided to develop that more and less of the later seasons happy Cliff. No biggie. It wasn't a big stretch to me. Afton said it then -- "you make J.R. look like a saint". And that was old Dallas.
@@naturallawman2965 I agree to an extent, but knowingly putting the life of his daughter and unborn grandchildren at risk was a bridge too far for Cliff. Cliff even accomplished his life long dream of acquiring Ewing Oil, so his quest for vengeance against the Ewings felt hollow. Perhaps it would have been more believable if they explained that some event during the previous years reignited the feud, but they just made it seem like it was based on the old resolved grudge from the original series. Showrunner Cynthia Cidre said the reason Cliff became so evil is because the show "needed a villain" after JR died. I personally support making Cliff more like his old scheming, ruthless self, but not in the haphazard way they went about it. His willingness to sacrifice the lives of his family should have been off the table as well. Cliff would con, manipulate, and backstab his family, but he wouldn't endanger their lives.
It was good show and would have probably been better if it wasn't called Dallas because I have to agree it was fan fiction they forgot stories that happened and changed characters personalities.
That Larry Hagman tribute 🥺
May he Rest In Peace nobody played JR Ewing better.
I’m going to visit the SouthFolk ranch and that’s on my bucket list but I want to meet Linda Gray and give her a hug!
And Victoria principal !! Big hug to the both
Rest In Peace Larry Hagman, Ken Kercheval, and George Kennedy.

Omri Katz played John Ross III, not 2nd.
Dallas is my favorite prime-time soap opera.
I loved the way it flashed some cool pictures in the second movie in 1989.
Heck, Dallas was a great nighttime Soap opera show. Who does forgets Jr Ewing and Larry Hagman was amazing person? That show would never be forgotten.
Who could JR tick off next! Larry Hagman played him to a T. :)
JR is my favorite character on Dallas.
JR did have a heart of gold it was just buried very deep inside him.
Dallas is my all time Favourite Theme
Awesome tune awesome characters awesome show
May Larry Hagman/JR Ewing rest in power
JRs Masterpiece always gets me in the feels

Was there a reason behind that?

My favorite character on Dallas was Pam.

Tracy Scoggins did appear on both Dallas and Dynasty. That's what I call an fluctuant.
And in The Colbys pfff to much...
"fluctuant?"
@@Youngstown529 Yeah, someone who moves from one series to another.
@@MacGyver5AF I've never heard that word before. Google says it means this: ADJECTIVE
fluctuating; unstable.
2012-2014 should only have 4 themes the 3 seasons and the one special after Larry died
What is up with TV shows today rushing the intros? It's more enjoyable when things were extended...
It for more commercials. Blah
Lack of attention span.
Rest In Peace Christopher Ewing.
Are we sure though? I mean he is Bobbys son 😂.

How I miss Larry Hagman!!!!!!!

The opening focuses more on the urban now.
Juli Gonzalo y Juan Pablo Di Pace, Argentinos.

In the Jan.-Apr.2013 opening version why was Larry Hagmans name on it because he died in Jan.2013?
Harris Ryland character would have been gold with the original cast
Weird seeing at&t stadium instead of Texas stadium
How come Priscilla Presley wasn't in the 2012 to 2015 Dallas shows
10:09 Gd it Fernando
Should have kept it going
Totally agree, one of the best shows ever on tv,
Ja eedd
