cant believe you never heard this song before!!!! this is to me their best album. i liked the guitars in the start of the song and your score is fine have a great day
The guitar solos at the start are kinda cool in my opinion. Not necessary sure, but I had no problem with it. No one requested All Guns Blazing or Nightcrawler? 🤘
Wasn't expecting you to react to one of my favorite Painkiller songs, you made my night !
i hope you get to their new album soon, its very impressive considering their age, and Rob still sounds amazing for 72!
Painkiller is such a great Priest album, although the songs "Metal Meltdown" and "Leather Rebel" were retired after only a few performances in 1990.
I hope you do the rest of the tracks from this album 🤘
K.K. !!! 🎸🔥🤘
Glenn !!! 🎸🔥🤘
The semi-rant was pretty funny, especially at 28:28. 😆I agree that the half-time section could've been added at an earlier point, at least as a teaser.
One of the best metal albums of all time!!!!😊
This is one of my favorite JP tracks.
Totally agree ... never liked the intro myself... can't wait for the next Judas Priest song.
Great
Finally good music!
Not agree about the beginning solos are just showing off, I think they just fit the theme of “meltdown”especially KK’s one really sounds like some notes meltdown. And since the song is at the middle of the album, there are already tracks like Hell Patrol and Lether Rebel that have very direct intro before this one.If you do the same thing again on this track,it will make audiences feel a little boring. And the beginning solos just solved the problem and fit the “meltdown ”sound.
React to Between The Hammer & The Anvil 💀
I figured that the intro would give you Ram it Down vibes. Knowing your Judas Priest history, I thought it would be a nice tease knowing what would come next. I agree that it is not very good and kinda rips of Eddie VH's Eruption IMO. But, I do think they needed something in the beginning to set up the riff because it would sound naked without some kinda setup but definitely not the setup they used. I honesty think their are about 2 or 3 more songs, maybe 4, you would really like on this album, but I don't want to pay the extra for the Patreon request priveledge since you updated them. Their are a few spots on the album you will not be a fan of but 8 out 10 of the tracks are bangers. probably you would like or love a total of 7 of them all together.
100%heavy metal=judas priest
Solos in beginning are not synth just showing off what K.K and Glenn can do😅Not the best tone agree...
This song is a good example of why I could never really get into Judas Priest, despite owning all of their albums aside from the last 3. Their songs are really about nothing. What is this song about? A metal meltdown? Um, okay. This is just a mess of lyrics thrown together to crazy guitars. It sounds cool. In my other comment, I say this is one of my favorite JP tracks and it is. It's a nice adrenaline rush. It's just not about anything. It's popcorn.
So story songs like Sentinel, Lochness, Rising From Ruins, and Victim of Changes are more your style? If so, cool
Sincerelly, as an always and forever JP's fan, I think that this song and Leather Rebell are the most overrated songs of the álbum. Just for me, this song is a headbanger, but really far from the level of the rest of the álbum. Between the Hammer and the Anvil, One Shot at Glory, Nightcrawler, Touch of Evil, all are far better than these two.
David probably won't like Touch of Evil with all the symph and will likely give him too much Turbo and Ram It Down vibes. Between the Hammer and Anvil would not like intro that's also used in bridge and the ending. It would overshadow in his mind all the good part of the song. He would also probably be annoyed with the middle part of Night Crawler and may not be too impressed with the song's simplicity. One Shot at Glory is the best bet from your list. I of course love every song off the album.
This whole album is one of their best ever in my humble metal / thrash loving opinion good sir always keep rocking on 💯🤘🤘🤘.. keep it real
Yup. Best Judas Priest album
