- Imagine waking up one day and not recognizing your husband. That's what happened to Kim Denicola, 56, who came down with a splitting headache one day last October and blacked out in a Louisiana church parking lot, only to come to with no memory of the past 40 years. "I apparently was married," Denicola told Inside Edition. "I had a wedding." She woke up in a Baton Rouge hospital to a nurse asking her questions. She couldn't remember her husband, children or grandchildren. #InsideEdition

Nothing is fishy, they just didn’t have time enough to tell people everything. As someone who was there and with her to the ER. She spent 3 days in the hospital and is still learning way more than you can imagine. Thank you for your concern.

If you lost your memories and you were told by your friend that you had a headache before the amnesia and later accepted your new reality, if someone was to ask what happened you would say that you had a headache before the accident.
Let me put it a different way, so you're walking to a park to relax and suddenly you wake up in a hospital. your doctor and family tell you that you were hit by a car and you don't remember that happening. If you were to tell that story to another person you would say that you were hit by a car, and not "I was teleported to a hospital bed with stitches"
I had temporary amnesia do to a car accident. It was pretty wild. People call you by your name and it doesn’t even register in your brain. I thought my brother in law(in a suit, sharp dresser) was the Doctor and kept asking him if I’ll be able to walk again. It was a short vacation from family and friends but not from the pain of a broken body which still had to be dealt with! Just glad it wasn’t long term! I wish the lady and her family all the best!

My grandmother has TGA. Thankfully hers alonely lasted about a day and her memories came back.
This happened twice to my Aunt. She was diagnosed with the same thing. Her memory came back within a day or two though.

One time when i was 4 i woke up and forgot everything in my life except for my name and my family's name, i didnt even know how i woke up in my own bed or that i went to pre-school... it was like Twilight Zone or something.
that happened to me too...after years I convinced myself it had to be a dream or something because it really felt like I was being hypnotized or in a trance..but it was real and did feel like the twilight zone

Such a simple case if you ask me. I took my this body years ago at its most vulnerable. It interesting to think of the possibility that the old version never really dies, but they retain its memories. Yes we can leave bodies but a host must take over. Somehow her memory returned which is interesting. Regardless I think this may reveal too much about our kind. I wonder if he still remembers when I took over, and if I left he would return. It’s scary thinking that he may still reside in this body.
