My Mom did one load of laundry every day for our family of 5 and that kept things under control for our family. Your organization for your family seems to be working well for you. Congrats on Baby Opal! 💗
still hard to understand, my family is small(3) so we never had laundry issue, but that didn't stop my house having huge clutter issue during pandemic, I think your mom is just a naturally tidy person and never really had real clutter issue
Great point about simply being “at home” and not on the go every moment of the day. The reality is it does take time to tend to things around the home and it can’t get done if we’re not at home to do it. Also the “just do it now/get it done now” mentality is something I’ve more recently adopted as a new parent, and I’m constantly thanking my past self for it! 10/10 recommend 😂
I do the reverse of your grocery day. I do the shopping first, and since I have to put away everything anyway, I just take everything out of the fridge when I get back and the groceries are all still in bags. Then as I unpack, the new stuff goes in first, in the back, and the old stuff goes in after, in the front. Congrats on your new daughter!
Congrats on Miss Opal! When I want to just get it done now, I tell myself 'My afternoon self will be SO happy that my morning self did this' Works every time and I often thank my morning self! Habit stacking is SO life changing as well
I'm expecting my 2nd baby in the span of 13 years, you're videos have helped so much with organizing and keeping me sane while sick in bed. Your baby girl is so precious, thank you for sharing with all of us!
I love the idea of putting charging cords into a canister! Love the idea of a maybe box. I've always done a weekly clean out of my fridge. We go to the dump every Saturday, so that makes me do it. Congrats on the birth of Opal! She is adorable!! ❤
Amen Sister! Washing my kids clothes by Child is a game changer!!! It all goes in at one time and comes out and goes into X childs room. So great! Whats even better is when the kid gets old enough to do his/her own laundry. Awesome!
Congrats on your new beautiful baby girl 🎉. When I was growing up in the 60’s and 70’s with 3 siblings I can’t remember my mother having trouble getting things put away or issues with laundry etc. Granted we didn’t have all the after school stuff that kids have now. When we were able she had us ‘carry some weight’ with simple chores. This taught us to be self sufficient in a way that we would always remember. And it worked. Of course she helped us because she was a loving and caring mother. Also taught us values and morals. Thx for letting me share.
Congratulations on the arrival of Opal!!! 🥰💗🍼 I have a hard time seeing empty spaces, for some reason my mind feels better when storage places are full so in order to not have so much junk I started filling those spaces with small decorations…no matter if it’s the pantry or a cupboard…I’ll put a nice artificial flower bouquet or fruit arrangement, or space out things so they take more space, lol
Hey Kallie. Adorable new edition. Great tips. Have my evening tidy routine. Trying to keep a decluttering mindset so that a little daily does not become overwhelming.😊😊😊
Despite being in a completely different 'season of life' you always have great tips to make my 'day to day' a happier experience. Thank you for sharing... and congratulations on your newest arrival.
Awesome, thanks! 🎉I had this thought today as I tidied up and did some tasks that I need to actually be home with time to do these things. Just what said here ❤
Love the no sorting kids clothes but maybe I can add to that Amazon might have large washable clothing bags so instead of washing 2 load per a kid perhaps put the dirty clothes in the the washable laundry bag and you can wash 2 or maybe 3 kids per a load!!
Congratulations on Baby Opal! What a sweet name! Just a suggestion...I did the same laundry basket for each kid thing when mine were growing up. I kept lingerie bags on hooks above their baskets. Dirty socks went into one. Dirty underwear went into one. Then when the laundry came out if the dryer, all the socks and underwear were together. It really simplified folding. (LOL I didn't fold. They just just got dumped into the correct bin. 😊)
Love this! Thank you! Also love the fridge organization- could you do a video on this or share where the containers are from? Once you’re up for it since you just had baby #4! 😉 Congratulations!!
I’ve been watching your videos for over a year and you have helped me so much! I had no idea you also lived in CT!! I saw the UConn phone case and was like wait a min 😂
Congratulations on your new baby girl! You are doing great! I wish I knew all these things when I was a young mom of 4! On a side note, I found the background music a little distracting. Maybe it’s just me? 🤷♀️ Thanks for sharing! 😊❤
I just decluttered and donated my only child’s toys and it was the hardest day I have ever had!😢 there was just something about this declutter that hurt my heart.❤ they are 12 and ready to let it all go but not me, lol
I really like your videos! I do find the background music distracting though, I really think your videos would be great with just you talking and no music.
I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 56 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Stephanie Janis Stiefel. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.
I know this FA, Stephanie Janis Stiefel but only by her reputation at Goldman Sachs; even though she's now involved in managing portfolios and providing investmnt guidance to clients. I have been trying to get in contact since l watched her interview on WSJ last month
@@SekouJannicke Well her name is 'STEPHANIE JANIS STIEFEL'. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.
Same here, I got to know about Stephanie Janis Stiefel on here in 2020. Since then l've paid off 160,000 USD of debt. Now I'm working on building an emergency fund. I didn't even have a savings account three years ago.
Great share! Out of curiosity, I searched Stephanie Janis Stiefel online, found her consulting page ranked at the top, and scheduled a call session. I've read many reviews about advisors, but none seem as impressive as hers.
It's the first time I'm watching one of your videos, and it may be the last. We all have different taste but I still wanted to tell you my opinion: First you're talking too fast, it's stressing me out. Second the beauty of minimalism is to think before buying, so to "fight" the "urge" of buying new stuff... Asking ourselves if we need stuff only after buying them seems "too late" for me. I'm happy you bring solution to other people, but it's not for me.
Maybe you could go back in her videos and watch some of the older ones. I’ve been watching before kids, three houses ago. Some of these aren’t for my season of life but she does have some good ones. Have a great day 😊

I look around the room and ask myself what I can do in 5 minutes. It’s amazing how much I can do with that mindset
Congrats on Miss Opal! When I want to just get it done now, I tell myself 'My afternoon self will be SO happy that my morning self did this' Works every time and I often thank my morning self! Habit stacking is SO life changing as well
I do this too! I hear Kallie saying it 😂
Kallie, A huge Congratulations for baby Opal! What a little beauty!! You are amazing for all you are and do! Much love to your whole family!!❤
💛 It is wonderful to know that Opal is here. Rest up and Congratulations. 💖 💛
Yes, doing laundry by family member is a game changer! Bonus, when they’re a bit older they easily just take over their own laundry day 🙌
I'm expecting my 2nd baby in the span of 13 years, you're videos have helped so much with organizing and keeping me sane while sick in bed. Your baby girl is so precious, thank you for sharing with all of us!

Take 10 minutes to work on, organize and declutter a small space is my new "go to" for getting things done! I can do this!

Great suggestions as always. Congratulations to your family on your new baby girl. Welcome to the world, Opal Kenney ♥
Emigration simplified my life to 6 suitcases for a family of 3. That's all our belongings. Highly recommend
That is impressive! And courageous too❤
Make time to spend at home are such wise words, Mama!!
Congratulations on your new addition.🎉❤🎉 Your pup is adorable too. 😊
Congratulations Kallie ! Opal is gorgeous. Enjoy this special time.

You always have such good advice. The one on simply being at home is definitely relevant, but, yes, often overlooked these days.
Great advice or suggestions as usual! Thanks!
You have the best advice & I need to keep hearing it to keep me on track. Thank you for all of your videos especially with your busy Mom life❤
your videos make me feel like i should start immediately, hold on, I'm gonna pause the video and finish watching after my motivation runs out LOL
Just decluttered my Christmas wrapping things while watching! Trying to move towards more reusable things.
Congratulations on your precious wee lass, Opal!! How exciting. Brilliant tips as everyone is different, different things will motivate us. 💚💚
Welcome to the world baby Opal. Bless you and your family

Great idea!😊

I do not put clean clothes into a basket that is also for dirty laundry. I keep separate baskets strictly for clean clothes.
Congratulations she’s so cute and cuddly absolutely adorable ❤👶🏻✌🏼🥳👏🏼

Where is your dining table from?
Does anyone know where the twin bed that can be made into a larger bed is from? Great option for guests.
Where has the countdown timer gone for the adverts? 😢
Exit the full screen and it'll be there

"stuff" lol
Love the content but with the music and the talking pace it gets annoyingly intense… maybe it would be better slowing everything down just a bit?
