North Norfolk Railway Vintage Transport Weekend 2023

Preserved buses and many vintage vehicles in action at the 2023 North Norfolk Railway vintage transport weekend day 2 from Holt and Sheringham.
As well as an intensive train service vintage buses and cars of all makes and eras were on display for us all to enjoy.
So many makes attended, Ford, Austin, MG, Triumph, Lotus, Mercedes, Chevrolet and a number of cars clubs in attendance. Some lorries, bikes and Bedford vans were also there.
There were regular vintage bus trips to Cromer, The Muckleborough Collection in Weybourne and to Sheringham where the Potty Festival was in full swing so this is the usual warning if you are of a nervous disposition for morris dancing. Four trains operated including visiting diesel locomotive D9537 “Eric” so there was so much to enjoy in a stunning setting. Thank you to all those who worked hard to bring us this event and on the day and of course all the vehicle owners including the East Anglia Transport Museum who brought 2 of their buses along.
The action starts at Holt with many of the vehicles arriving in the morning sunshine. Not forgetting the trains which were running an intensive timetable. Then I took a trip aboard VR190 to Sheringham where there was time for a look at the Potty Festival before I then went on to Cromer aboard G520 VBB Olympian. It was busy as you see some of the buses departing and returning from trips before it was off to Cley aboard GE Sykes Bristol LH Supreme.
