Thunder because they're thrown out of the inside of the earth when an eruption, usually accompanied by a thunderous sound, occurs and the clumps of rock have formed from pressure deep underground. It takes a lot of heat and pressure to form the crystals inside the "egg" and that only happens underground.

Correct he was. I figured some major forces were at work deep in the earth. I didn't believe it would allow me to hear ⛈️
