Ultrasonic Humidifier fix - not misting well

This humidifier is made by many companies under different names but they all generally look the same.
The units has some surprisingly good technology as it uses a magnetic sender to know when its empty (just like your gas tank does) and includes a switch to turn the unit off when that happens.
It also uses ultrasonic sound disc to vaporize/mist the water. In my case, that is what failed and wouldn’t mist very well. I bought a new disc on Amazon and fixed it with a soldering iron in about 10 mins.
