Aditional note for beginners: Normally the moment to counter steer is a bit earlier than you normally would do correcting the car in a grip situation. So you need to thrust a bit that car will slide and counter steer already. Otherwise when you counter lock the wheel the car is already spun and there's nothing to do.

The handbrake is fantastic for drifting (still using v1), so much better when tandem drifting as opposed to a button, when leading you can keep the car super smooth in transition making it better for the follower, even better when following when you dont want to scrub too much speed but add a little angle and keep up with the lead driver on corner entry being able to add just a little handbrake is a game changer

that will also depend on the sim you are using, if it supports analog hand brake input but great way to sell your amazing products!
