Still awake! Your Clarksons Farm review bought me here...this is very watchable content for us blokes. Good duo. I know nothing about farming.....Subscribed!
Superb video and definitely stayed awake. We have just purchased a TM 155 imported from sweden with low hours. Not used it much yet but already love it. Your Dad is a great character and i have to say your yard and buildings are wonderfully clean and tidy. Looking forward to the next one.
Definitely still awake at the end! I always admired how much Ford shared between models. 7710 was a 7610 with a flat floor and not much different to a 6610 but with a turbo. Those indictor mounts were such a simple design, on the lower 76 and 66, Ford just bolted them on the other way so pointing down.
Everything about Ford tractors are simple, I think that’s why I like them so much. There’s no other tractor that’s easier to attach an implement to 👍 and they’re great to be with and work on
HahA great tour of ur machinery . Still awake here on 2 am monday morning lol have a great week guys thanks for another great vid . All the best ...... ian .....
I used to drive an old Ford. Either a 6610 or 7610. Can't remember. But it had the two gear levers between the legs. With that funny old gear box that went 1 3 2 R 4. The 4wd and splitter switches where on the dash. But a lot of the controls in yours look familiar. The hydraulics and puh look the same. Then there was a, massive 90 series. With that amazing 1 lever gear box. That was the first tractor I drove with a field calculating computer. They where great tractors.
i think the original seat in your 7700 was a viking Bostrom seat which may have been in ford blue it was a more square seat and had a ratchet type ride comfort adjustment and you could adjust the backrest viking Bostrom where very involved in lorry seats at the time I even had one on my Atco Royale 30 inch cylinder mower.
I had a 4610 with sidelights and indicaters like that but had them moved and fitted directly onto the cab, no more head banging. Not sure how that sat legally but I was never pulled over for it. Great couple of videos, thank you for sharing.👍
Nice one nick. The Tm come from a safe place then ! 😆 My first tractor I drove was a Ford in 1983, doing grain and towing artic trailers with staw. Keep em coming
It's going to be sticky nick! It came from condom! The claas we have leaves half the sample on the ground, as is collected, judging by the amount of volunteers that grow in line with where the swath was, it's owned by two cousins but it's only the cousin from the other farm that drives it, we think they just rush a lot of the time and don't bother setting it up properly when they go to the other cousins farms. When we had a tx32 there was far less lost over the back, terrible really. They've bought a new one for this year but I don't know what model yet but it is another class as the other farm drive it and have always had claas combines. I prefer NH but case look pretty good and JD.
I would use the clutch for a Tm range change. Seems to save on synchro wear more than using the button on the stick Is the 7710 gearbox a backwards H pattern? IE back for 1/3 forward for 2/4? My Dad had a super Q 7710 that was backwards swapped for a 7810 that was conventional. Just wondered.
Interesting you mentioned a 7R in the last video, I often think you could probably do everything you do with a 6250. They look a very capable all rounder, with the option to add plenty of weight if need be.
Great 2 part video nick, condom, length and width in the same video , can only be dad. On the combine why don't you sell the 35 ft header , get a 30 then that way it a match drill width assuming your drill is 6 metre, one set of wheelings will be same on drill and combine. Your dads knowledge is second to none. Awake all the way.
Those front side light stalks were a blasted nuisance, we used to cut them and take about 6”-8” out of them because they bloody hurt when you hit them 😂😂😂😂
You and your dad are very positive people. Good luck in your business.
That TM is mint for its age.
Great seeing you and your Dad chatting away. 😊
still awake nick always love seeing the old fords and how can you not watch a video till the end
I like how you both have the sheds tidy so you can get to anything easily.
I take after Dad, we’re both very organised 😂
@@NicksFarm I love it, it makes life so much easier. 👍👍
I stayed awake till the end and roll on the Fordson Major video 🙂
Still awake and enjoyed watching.

That’s the thing to do then! The tape we put on doesn’t stop the occasional headbang, and doesnt soften the blow either 😂😂 thanks for watching!

🤣🤣 as for combines, I’ve heard great things about Case, we used to run JD before we went to Claas, who knows what will be next then!
I'm still awake 🤣.. Brilliant video Nick and Dad 👍🏻
Haha! Cheers Tim 👍
Good video nick we,v got an x reg 150 she's got the darker trim pealing off same as you say, but she's been here since new
Interesting to hear Richard, somebody else said the same, maybe it’s common on them all then 🤷🏼♂️
@@NicksFarm might just be the early ones, we have an 02 reg which is just grey
That JCB Fastrack's in good nick!
Almost a classic now
Thanks Peter, We’ve tried to look after it, yes almost classic now 👍
We have a ford fleet. We have a 2n, jubilee, super major Fordson, and a 9000.
Sounds awesome 😎
Still a wake nice lot of kit you got there can,t wait to see next one.
Thanks! 👍
Hi nick you do need the tap if you turn it off it stops the head of diesel going to the bottom tank so stopping it flowing unless it is pumped 🤔👍👌
Yes I think that’s right, sends the flow to the saddle tank, but doesn’t have to be turned off for filter changes as we always thought 🤔
The tm165 a good clean tractor 🚜 I love my TM140 & 155 great power… Cool vid 🤙🤙👍👍
Still awake 😉😉😂😂
Thanks for watching 🙂
Nice tm Nick. If you want to upshift and down shift faster just press and hold the buttons
Cheers mate 👍 hasn’t done much work yet but looking forward to cultivations etc with it soon!
@@NicksFarm the condition of yours will put our 155 to shame, all credit to the previous owner

Thanks mate and yes we have thought about it 👍
Could you not get a front tank for the JCB you might be carrying around spray instead of those front weights?
Yep something we have thought about 👍
I like the tm 165 proper modern classic I drove a new one from 2001 -2008 just enough technology on it and I was sad to see it go👍
Great tractor, I’m looking forward to using it more this summer and autumn 🚜🚜
I Whached to end
loving part 2
Great videos gents, just a little nap half way though 😉💤
😂😂
Nice video do you have photos of the old kit and csn show them ? Would be interesting
We have some, I’m hoping I can find some more, if so I’ll show them sometime 👍
fantastic video nick
Thanks!
I’m still awake!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Two good videos nick 👍
Thanks Paul 👍
Very much awake here too.
Do you have a claydon straw rake to chit the black grass before drilling?
We use a set of tine harrows 👍
Brilliant cheers Nick 😎👌
Thanks Philip 👍
Those front side light stalks were a blasted nuisance, we used to cut them and take about 6”-8” out of them because they bloody hurt when you hit them 😂😂😂😂
They sure do!! 😣
Great video
Thanks Michael
I know what you mean with combine smell
What about little 5000 series John Deere with grass tyres??? Also any sign of a name for 'He who can't be named' ?
Name will be revealed at 20K subscribes I think. Won't take too long at this rate.
Yes we didn’t show that, it’s actually shared between my cousin and myself, as for dads name, sometime soon, I have said at 20k subs so we’ll see 😉
Yes first name at 20k and middle name at 50k 😁😁
Wow condom haha that's close to where i live. I've played rugby there haha. It's in the south west of france
Yes I thought it was south west 👍 where about are you?
@@NicksFarm studied in Bordeaux. But living in the Dordogne near Bergerac
Will you be showing us your implements and tools next ?
Edit: you already said yes at the end :)
Yup there’ll be a vid on those at some point 🙂
Buy a new holland combine they give a way better sample and less loss
Nick......you forgot the garden tractor !
Haha yeah we’re saving that one for it’s own vid 😉😂
Could you not just mount the sprayer above the back tyres then you could tow a tank with you aswell 🤔
Still awake what is your favourite tractor of all I know mine would be TM
Hmm hard choice, probably the 7710 as it was the first tractor I really worked with, have done a lot of hours in it 👍 Tm close second!!
Fantastic has always cant beat a bit of ford power
Quick question how many acres do you farm?
Farm is 1000 acres split over 3 , currently managing about 650 of it ourselves the rest is done by contractors
GATOR Up! In Part 3 ?
🇬🇧👍🇺🇸
💚
Definitely!!
That combine is a credit to you both, Is the little baby JD not yours.
It’s shared between us and my cousin 👍
