I gassed up at Costco today. They don't accept cash at the pumps.

Unfortunately, it's becoming more and more that way.

I don't feel guilty about not tipping in retail or fast food environment.

Hi fellow canadian, I’m in Toronto, personally I just keep a credit card to pay for everything. I agree that it can definitely be easier to overspend with realizing. But jts also worth noting that credit cards can be very good ways to get cash back while also improving your credit score as long as you keep track of your spending and pay back the monthly balance in full.

Absolutely! That's the key right there; paying the monthly balance back in full before any interest collects. If you can do that, there's definitely many advantages to using them. Great point!

I always prefer money too. I don't like to use my card and prefer to get money out, so I can see how much I have. I know there's places that are card only but if you tell them that you only have Clash, most of the time they will take it. Also, all these card only place, why do they always have a glass jar on the counter, with cash. Makes you think.

You nailed it!...It's so much easier to see where you're sitting with money with cash in your hand. Cards always leave you wondering. That's a great point about the jar on the counter for card only places haha. I've seen that too!

@@Planet-U Every time I use my card, I'm watching it and feel better when it goes through. How can you know how much you have, unless you keep track.
